Excellent Position of the Hotel close to Paddington Station. The cost of the hotel was lower than other ones in Zone 1. Rooms and bathroom - as said previously - are extremely small, It can work if hosts are flexible and plan to spend most of the time in the city. It can become problematic if you need to use the room for a long period of time . When we arrived on Saturday 17th at 3.00 am at Liverpool Street, we phoned the reception to ask which night bus was operating towards Paddington. The answer of the guy was " I am not paid to provide guidance". I hope the management of the hotel take actions against such unprofessional behaviour, which violates all basic rules of courtesy the hotel personnell should have with guests and foreign turists. Other than that, the other personnell of the hotel was ok. |

The Crownwall is convenient to tube stations at two locations. It was clean and a good value compared to other London hotels of the same class. |

Location was good: close to Paddington Station, Hyde Park, and convenience stores. The room and bathroom were so tiny that they were really dangerous; the bathroom was precisely 27 inches x 81 inches, there were about 8 inches of space between the bed and the wall, and there was no space to put a suitcase on the floor other than in the passageway to the door or bathroom. Reviews mentioned the small rooms, but I had not idea exactly how small! I could not recommend this hotel. |

The room was not so big, but worth the price. All the staff were friendly and kind and the hotel was easy access from Heathlow. |

I liked the proximity to restaurants Paddington station and Hyde park. The hotel was in a quiet streeet, which after a hectic day of exploring in London was quitesoothing to come back to. Im afraid I found the room very cramped with almost nowhere to make the tea! No outlook and a bit stuffy at night. The shower curtain needed a good wash. |

Our stay was fairly okay considering the price. Our beddings were not changed for the duration of our stay but our room was tidied. If you are looking a bank friendly hotel in central london, I would recommend this hotel. |

Room was tidied everyday. Location was good but any hotel near a subway is just as good. Had booked this as a surprise and felt like I had spent alot of money on this hotel compared to other options available. On arrival, the person at reception didnt tell us anything about the hotel. Eg.what time breakfast was or where to go for it, what the hotel had to offer and no welcome pack in the room.So didnt know when towels etc would be changed etc.You couldnt hang around at the hotel as it had nothing to offer to stay part from the bed.Had asked for a double room and ended up with a twin room.Breakfast was toast or conflakes. One of us had to sit on the bed while the other moved around the room.Next time I go to London, I will book a chain hotel which are cheeper and know what to expect. |

Nicely located north of Hyde Park and near Paddington Station. Many options for the metro and circle line to get to the "important" places. Some nice restaurants are nearby. The rooms are not large, but I already expected that when I made the reservation. The staff is very flexible even when I had troubles with my creditcard. |

Great location close to public transportation and sights in London. Clean, reasonably good breakfast. The rooms are very small. The street below is loud, so it's hard to sleep past 7am if you keep your window open. |

Location is excellent. Close to Paddington Station, Hyde Park, easy to get to most sites in London via metro. Staff helpful when my computer got left behind in a taxi. Good Italian restaurant on street. Rate on booking.com 20 pounds cheaper per nite than rate advertised at hotel...so that was good. Check in guy was the most friendly...the rest were not as friendly but they were good. Hotels in London are expensive, so budget wise this is an ok hotel for the location. It is older, the rooms are very tiny, no air conditioning. Hard to take a shower without the shower flowing over. Not sure how a big person would fit in the bathroom or the room. Breakfast is basic, but ok. Internet very unreliable and slow. |

The hotel staff was friendly and there was a mini kitchen area in the room with microwave, which was very convenient. The hotel is also situated very near Paddington underground station. The room had no fan/air conditioner and can get a little hot in a summer afternoon. |
