Halo Crowwood Hotel Glasgow  

Nothing in room about facilities no information about meal times.asked at reception time for breakfast told 8-10am went down at 9am breakfast was over.room looked out to bins and loads of rubbish.will not return

No reception staff to greet, booking had not been put in their system, so they did not know I was coming! Hotel walkways dirty, carpets un hoovered, 1st room they gave me was dirty, asked to be moved and they did. 2nd room stank of old hoover bags, this lingered the whole night. Window would not close. shower did not work.and if the weather was better I would not have stayed a minute longer. for as excellent as Booking.com are, they have this hotel totally wrong.

Friendly staff, food was excellent

1St floor corridor was cold damp and carpet was filthy, room carpet was dirty and stained, tv in room did not work fully (picture was pixelated and in morning most channels didn't work)

The Staff were very good most helpful, Room was very comfortable, Food was as you would expect, fair choice on the menu

Although it was advertised as having been refurbished, our room was shabby and 'tired' looking. The dining room was also shabby and the walls dirty in places. We had stayed here before approx.2 Years ago but standards have slipped further since then and it's very doubtful whether we will return again.

No hot water in room - had to have cold shower after 15 hr day -not good- no one on reception so told lady behind bar and she was so indifferent it was untrue!!

On-site Restaurant, serving a good choice of food at reasonable prices. I did not have to leave the building to go to the Pub next door for Dinner or Breakfast, or collect a plastic bag with a cold Continental Breakfast from Reception !! The Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive.

The view from the Dining Area windows should have been glorious, as it overlooks the golf course. However, immediately outside was an unscreened Septic Tank (very romantic), and an area with broken / damaged picnic tables, set on bark chippings, the chippings being outnumbered by the fag ends dumped there. Outside the kitchen area fire exit, several items of discarded kitchen equipment were abandoned. There were no curtains / blinds on the windows to reduce the impact of these unsavoury visions. i did not like anything,paid far to much for room nearly double what other sites offered.the hotel furniture was well worn.the corridor to the room smelled and was stained.the room was small and looked out to a wall.

as above would not recommend booking .com or the crowwood

Freindly staff, Good food and a good sized room. Reasonably priced and we were able to take our dog at no extra cost.

i got married there and it was excellent.the honeymoon suite could have been better

the price of drinks was quite expensive.
