Staff friendly & helpful
Room decor was shabby, with socket coming away from the wall.
Didnt like anything
Food was good.
Bit run down and smelly in corridors. Too far out and situated on a dual carriageway
Let down .. Not what I expected
Starting to look a little shabby outside. Lots of cigarette ends and cigarette bins full.
Staff were friendly
Room was dirty. Cups had not been washed. Stains on carpet, wallpaper and ceiling. TV controller was greasy. No cleaning of bathroom floor. Very disappointing.
The 25percent you take ....
The waitress was extremely helpful with my special dietary requirements and was really good with the children. The food was mostly very good and fairly good value for money.
The receptionist had a very sharp manner and did not appear to have much time to answer any questions. She gave a poor first impression of the hotel.
Wifi and beds were comfy
Windows and ledges were dirty and the room was really hot shower wasn't very powerful
All Staff were cheerie and pleasant and made you feel welcomed. Room warm on arrival. Enjoyed a very good Scottish breakfast hot and plentiful.
Shower over bath, my wife requires a walk-in shower as she has difficulty lifting her leg to get into bath due to disability, I should have checked this when booking. Gents toilet at bar required cleaning out.
Staff very helpful
The information I got before booking was that the hotel was 1 mile from pollok park, but this wasore like 10 miles and cost me £30 in taxi fares, disappointed
Plenty car parking space. Powerful shower. Pleasant staff in restaurant.
Heater switch in bedroom disabled which is necessary in February! Cold rooms. Shabby décor in bathroom. Lukewarm breakfast with cold coffee.
The food was good, bar prices as always too expensive, certainly for the service given
Staff were unprofessional, and service at times bordered on boredom, Hotel was needing some TLC and repairs carried out, a bit tatty both inside and out. certainly not worth the rate for the room only, compare this with the standard of Premier Inns at the same rate and it doesn't come close.
Room was clean and tidy , but absolutely freezing when we arrived
About 10 min wait for reception staff to check us in, we then went to bar for quiet drink before getting ready to leave for our party which was close by , my partner had one drink and went back to our room, it then took me over ten minutes to get myself another drink, with about four customers in the bar/lounge. Once we were ready to leave we ordered a couple of drinks waiting for our taxi, i then received about 3/4 of a pint of Cider and was told the barrell had finished, but they would'nt charge me for a full pint. After our party had finished we arrived back at hotel about 1.30, we could not get anyone at reception for our room key, i stupidly tried to call the hotel hoping someone would here a phone ringing, but did not realise the number i was ringing was infact America, we then decided we had to go upstairs to a private function and get one of the staff to come to reception and give us our room key. Breakfast in morning was good, but once again no one in reception when we left, put room key behind counter and departed.
Recently attended a wedding at the Crowwood Hotel.Paid 130 pounds on line in advance for one overnight with breakfast for a double room. Receptionist thought it was amusing that my friends booked the day before the wedding by telephone and it cost them 80 pounds. The pictures on the web site never showed the wallpaper hanging off the walls, the manky carpets or the filthy bathroom. The full English breakfast must have been a childs portion, and the extra toast we asked for took 20 minutes to arrive. Definitely not value for money and will never stay there or advise anyone to stay there again.
Lack of food available on menu Could do with a coat of paint in dining area. Visible splashes of food/drink on walls near tables. Stayed here a few years ago and it has definitely went downhill since then
Bed was kind of comfortable. Leaving a practical joke when we left.
Every strip of wall paper peeling off. Ceiling was peeling off. Room was cold, heaters are rubbish. Food was not a good standard. Walls are wafer thin, can hear everything.
Location and price in relation to Glasgow City centre.
paint flaking above shower and damp smell in corridor. The hotel was decent, but in need of some TLC.
best bit was the staff, alway there to help
food at night ,not that good
