a warm welcome, friendly staff and a comfortable room. Very pleasent surroundings.
Called Croxton House in the morning before my arrival to ask about WiFi and was told that the room allocated to me had flooded and I could not be accommodated. Later, I got a call from Booking.com to say that the room had in fact been double booked. As a customer, it's not nice to be lied to.

Just little things - no spare toilet roll, soap dispenser empty.
Room, staff, food, location, facilities. It was the best by far and a credit to the best of B&B's.
I am being picky but the signage next to the road needs more that a few fairy lights.
