“ It is in a lovely quiet area. The room we had was very big with all facilities you would need ie, TV, Kettle etc. Breakfast is self serivce so you can help yourself to cereal, toast, yoghurt etc. Overall it was excellent value for money and we would definitely go back. ”

My husband and i stayed at croxton house for 2 nights and found it relaxing warm and very comfortable. the owners were very welcoming and the breakfast they served was really good.

Excellent welcome with very good value. Could have done with another blanket on bed. Was a bit cold but did not look whether there was another blanket in cupboard.

The breakfast was excellent plus you had a wide choice of times when you could have it! Bedroom was large and comfortable. Would have preferred a proper shower rather than a tap attachment.

Keith was very welcoming and the room & en-suite very comfortable. We only stayed one night but would certainly stop again if we were in the area. The breakfast was very good but we would prefer ground coffee if possible.

Nothing was too much trouble. I lost my ticket for the internet connection and it was immediately replace with no fuss. Not like the chain hotels. Totally positive.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were a good size and very clean. It was very quiet and peaceful. Excellent value for money would definately stay again.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the host and hostess, which went beyond the normal pro expectations. Only small problem - towels, which went from 2 to 1, and I'm sure this was a slip with staff and not worth bothering the hosts

Comfortable clean bed, drink in the room, plenty of space, having washbasin in room, lovely view, lovely ornaments, choice of bath and separate shower, very nice welcome, warm room. Did stay for breakfast as I am a coeliac and needed to depart early.

I liked the location which was in a village in the countryside, this was lovely I like the room we stayed in, it was lrg and a lrg bathroom, but parts of the room could do with updating ie tv, bath, furniture.

Situated in a nice quite area with well kept grounds, the owner was very friendly and the bed was very comfortable. The supplied breakfast was more than adequate. We would stay again if we were in the area.

I enjoyed the old buildinf and the nice surroundings. I was a bit dissapointed that the breakfast was not included seeing as I bought it as a bed and breakfast. It seemed a bit like a Ryan air style catch you out.

The room was large and spacious and the bathroom was warm and comfortable. I wasn't impressed to discover that, unlike the two B&B's that I had stayed in over the previous three days, the price of the overnight stay did not include a cooked breakfast and that this would be an extra £7. The other two places I stayed in charged about the same amount and a cooked breakfast should be standard with b&b these days. Also the airport and railway were rather noisy, though thankfully not late into the night.
