Excellent value for money. If you are on a budget, you will need to use busses to reach mainline trains and underground.

The hotel was overbooked when I arrived but the staff were friendly and made arrangements for me to stay at the hotel next door - which was being refurbished- apart from the building works (which meant that the place literally was a building site) the quality of the room was good and the staff went out of their way to help. Day time noise from the builders which ended by 5pm.

The room was clean but very basic; twin room with one chair, one cup, minimal lighting. Minimal service. Very noisy, loud music until late into night. Noise, lack of service

Poor service, specially the recepcionists. They make you pay for the breakfast (It should have been included) unless you are full with just toasts with jam and butter, tea, coffee, cornflakes, milk and orange watery (as orange juice). We will never stay there again.

It was a room over our heads, and had luxuries like a flushing toilet and hot water, eventually. Parking was free, which was a huge bonus. The staff were very helpful - eventually. The room wasn't the easiest to access, considering it was a disabled suite (we're not disabled btw). The whole hotel was proudly showing the effects of age and decay, though there were signs of renovation in progress, but this mostly manefested in looking uncared-for, especailly the mouldy windows, the broken power points and the tempermental electrical equipment. Their idea of a contenental breakfast was unique and incredibly basic - thank goodness neither of us had a gluten intolerance.

Car parking was free. This hotel deserves the designation of a lodging house only. Hotel is a stretch. There is no bar or restaurant and the building is somewhat run down. Also the facility appears to be providing temporary housing to families. Staff were not friendly and were more interested in having a chat in Arabic than in English.

polite staff, easy parking, the hotel looked tired, and was across the road from croydon hospital A & E.busy noisy road, had single room at top of hotel, no lift 3rd floor, for a single room en suite not a bad size, if you left window open unable to hear your self speak, net curtains looked like had not been washed for months, kettle in room no milk tea or coffee or cup, went down to mention it, no towels in bathroom went down to get some, room never even had toilet paper available.hot night window open to noisy to sleep. despite the good staff would not stay again.

Below average hotel. We booked our room online @70gbp but when we asked for extention they demanded 139gbp per day which is too high for such a below average hotel. Once they surprised us by changing our furniture without our knowlrdge.Breakfast was very basic compared to the European standard. During the riots we had to change our hotel for 2 days due to the lack of security. But the best thing is the location.
