Croydon Park Hotel  

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Everything was excellent for me as the train station was close by and the down town is not far as well.

The internet connectivity wasn't that good. i had only one to two bars in my room and i couldn't use my iPad as the signal was really weak.

Location

Having stayed in the hotel twice before I noticed a marked increase in poor service. The room was very unclean with the bathroom squeaking when you take a shower. The water pressure quite low and there was even no fridge in the room. And that was supposed to be an upgrade according to the reception staff. The car park was another issue. They tried to charge extra £5.00 for the use of the car park though it was not stated in the booking form. The car park needs better lightening. It is very dark especially at night. All in all not a good service.

I would have preferred two separate single beds - not two together.

Easy to get yo town, good value for money, good facilities.

didn't really like the fact that after checking in we could only get to the room after 15.00 o'clock.

Very close to train station. Could walk back to hotel alone at night from station without any problems

The bar had football on televison with the volume very high. Felt more like a public bar that a hotel bar. Not at all comfortable atmosphere to eat meal in. I had jerk chicken, which I was increadibly dissapointed in portion size. I had 2 thighs and 1 drumstick, all of which were very small, more of a starter portion, them had to buy a sandwich afterward as I was still hungry. My food was also not hot. I did report this to the staff at the time.

My friend's room was supposed to be no smoking yet there was avery strong smell of smoke in teh room (4th floor). My room on 2nd floor was fine

I appreciated the location and the accomodations, including the good restaurant and food.

I prefer not to have to pay for internet as it is becoming common at many hotels not to charge for this service.

Great value, staff where very polite and genuine. Breakfast was very good with a large selection, something for everyone. Room was fairly large and clean and serviced every day, all in enjoyed our stay.

Convenient, clean, comfortable, Really accomodating staff. They let us do an early check in and late check out. Smiling, helpful and attentive. A block away from the train station makes getting around easy. Trains go by every 10-15 minutes to London which is about a 15 minute trip. Good restaurants, bar and facilities.

Food and drinks at the restaurant were pricey. But not too bad to get a late night drink or dessert.

Very convenient to local rail service into London. Good size rooms
