Croydon Park Hotel  

The health spa was small but nice to have a quick relax

The room was tatty, cigarette burns on the sofa and the carpet patched in several places. The room next door was very very noisy with the occupant recieving visitors throughout the night, whom were being paid, and were not residents of the hotel ! The noise was horrendous. I could her every noise including , the prices charged and details about the driver waiting to take the visitors to their next appointment! As I had to get up at 4am this didn't allow me any sleep at all. My complaint wasn't taken seriously, security at the hotel is obviously lax and as it was within the periods of the rioting you would have thought that security would have been heightened.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Everything was excellent for me as the train station was close by and the down town is not far as well.

The internet connectivity wasn't that good. i had only one to two bars in my room and i couldn't use my iPad as the signal was really weak.

Great hotell. Great location. You don't even have to take the train in to London city. Croydon has it all. Shopping, resteraunts and a great nightlife. 20 min with the train in to Victoria station. The train station is only 2 min away from the hotell.

The only thing if I have to complain on anything is that the rooms is pretty loud. Should have better soundproof. But thats a really small thing and it wasn't anything that bothered me.

Conveniant location.

Very worn out furniture. Needs a renovation. Room not clean. Pillows dirty and smelly. Executive Rooms are not different from normal rooms, just more expensive. This hotel cannot be recommended.

We picked this hotel as it was convenient for a wedding we were attending so did not have chance to use the fracilities, but found hotel friendly, comfortable with excellent food. Parking for free was an added bonus! Enjoyed Whistlers Bar as well.

Near Croydan Rail Station and amenaties.

Furniture is outdated( more than 15 years old) and needs replacing.

Excellent location for Croydon City Centre business and links to London. The staff are friendly and efficvient. The restaurant is particularly well run and the fixed price buffet is great value and has very good food indeed.

The rooms are a little tired and noise from adjoining rooms can be a problem.

Good value for money close to conference attended nearby and railway station. Quiet at. Night even though city location.

I liked the fact that breakfast was included in the price and was absolutely lovely, food was great. I also iked that I was able to have a little swim, jacuzzi and a sauna to unwind before my night out in elmers end, also fantastic and included in the price, where as alot of hotels I was looking at in the area did not include breakfast and did not have the unwinding facilities I.e jacuzzi and sauna

Great location for Croydon City centre and fast train links to London. Good food and convenient car park.Check-in can be slow and queues at reception are common.

Rooms are comfortable but sound insulation from adjoining rooms is poor. If you are a light sleeper, avoid the rooms near the efficient lifts. Poor wi-fi signal strength in rooms. My hotel bill for three nights included a large charge for phone calls I had not made. These were removed at checkout, but this was unsettling.

Although very close to East Croydon station, it is in quite a quiet location and is pretty good for the price, albeit by Greater London standards. One or two similar hotels in the area may be slightly cheaper but for handiness to the station and the main shopping centres I would prefer the Croydon Park.

It would need a new face lift. The rooms were clean as could be. But the walls would need an upgrade. Would need an ironing board in room. Definitely not a four Star, needs a lot more personal touches.

The hotel is brilliantly located for East Croydon station. Buses, trains and the tram are vitually on the doorstep. The hotel is clean, comfortable and staff are helpful.
