Location, politeness and breakfast
Bathroom needed updating
Location and look from front also the main entrance.
Awful sound insulated room in the back add on extension of the hotel I was kindly offered another room of the same type but no point in accepting as it was just the same. A room in the old gothic Victorian part of the building I would guess is vastly better.
Walls between rooms very thin, easily hear conversations and people moving about.
Staff across all areas of service were pleasant and very accomodating
Bed was new but mattress not super comfy
Great location and parking
Some areas were a bit tired and grubby, but they were clearly making improvements.
they have a 24 hour bar everybody is very helpful
the price of the drinks at the bar
From the outside the first impression is an older hotel but once inside it is extremely modern. The facilities are excellent and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We were asked if we would like clean towels after the first night, we were only there for 2. We also used the restaurant, the best Balti curry I have tasted in a long time.
Breakfast was good! Plenty of parking! Good bar!
Noise from other rooms!
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Overall good value for money.
Walls a bit thin so could hear adjoining rooms and footsteps in room above.
The house is very nice, especially the lobby. Staff is friendly, good areas to sit and hang out. Nice bar and restaurant.
Mould and foul smell in the bathroom, layout of the hotel is very strange with lots of stairs. Breakfast is adequate but nothing special (no black pudding!)
Staff most welcoming and attentive, with young children were most accommodating
Smokers so near entrance as smoke was there as door opened, suggest bin but moved to end of veranda
Very friendly staff, close to town centre, great views from room. Breakfast - great choice and food good with fast service and modern dining room.
Although rooms clean the were in need of modernization. The beds were very uncomfortable and the springs could be felt. The walls were paper thin and we were kept awake all night with snoring from next door. The snorer might have as well have been in our room it was so loud. We would hear every word of conversation. Walls too thin! Wouldnt stay in these rooms again.
Room was comfortable, great shower. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. I am sure when the renovations are complete this hotel will be beautiful. Good luck.
Bathroom could have the floor and walls freshened up.
The staff were great and very helpful. The restaurant staff were efficient, friendly and professional.
The stairs to the first floor were hard for my husband.
Hotel is well situated and the staff were very pleasant
Our accomadation ,the en suite was in desperate need of an upgrade . It was also very cold and draughty , the electrics did not work properly , how they ever got passed I don't know! There was also a very unpleasant damp smell in the corridor outside our room.
Thin walls, damp smell, mold, terrible mattress.
Breakfast Room was OK, with a good heating Bed was comfortable Very nice view from the front side
Rooms need to be updated
Beautiful old house with friendly staff and nice breakfast
If you like querkey old hotels with lots of character then there is not anything to dislike
Very friendly staff, made you feel welcome. The awesome view of the loch and mountains. The food was scrumptious!
Customer service fantastic and lots of nice places to sit and relax. Food was yummy
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to town and the rooms were clean.
The area we stayed in was under construction, so was noisy during the day. The wifi was poor.
Arrived the towels and pillow cases were dirty allough the changed them still left you thinking room smelled damp .thiught about eating in the hotel but when looked at price went else where came back had a drink witnesed two people who had sreak this had to be returned twice then the were told pick anything of the menu free of charge however the manager renaid on this at witch point i said i had witness what he said got told it was not me he was talking to he was very rude to say the least this hotel is full of ethnic people to witch i have no objection but the should be curtious as the duty manager on leaving the hotel was mark out of ten two
In hotel restaurant was good as we were too tired to venture out and find one.
Food does take longer than usual to arrive on your table but the food is really tasty so we didn't mind waiting.
Great location not far from high street. the breakfast was good.
Mattress in room was very uncomfortable - really hard - my back was agony in morning. walls thin so could hear couple having sex next door..
