Warm welcome and lovely room with an excellent breakfast. Good value.
There was nothing that we didn't like.
The hostess is wonderful and helpful. Breakfast delicious.
Hot water faucet in sink not operable, plastic shelf on wall tilting downward as if almost breaking, wall anchors with heating unit falling out of wall in bedroom, ugly garbage cans lining entry at driveway. Generally a bit shabby and in need of some repairs and spiffing up to feel more welcoming and as good a value as beautiful, more modern places we stayed in. Hostess VERY good, however.
The location.. it had lovely views from the dining room, the friendly staff, the delicious breakfast!
the room wasn't that warm, the shower wasn't very powerful.
NOTHING TO NOT LIKE!
Scottish breakfast was superb. Nice and clean rooms.
Big bedroom. Clean.
Room cold no heating on. Bathroom small.
Room size and view
Ideal for visiting the local area.
The bedroom certainly had the "wow factor". Massive room with wooden floors, tartan curtains and big en suite bathroom. Super big, comfy bed and a view out of the window to die for.
I think it may be haunted!! That all adds to the fun of staying in an old Scottish house though :-)
It's a quiet place with parquing and good breakfast. Rachel was really kind and frienly.
The town is really small and there aren't interensting things to visit.
Rachel was wonderful, even offering to book us into the local Pub for an evening meal after a long day cycling to our stay. Ground floor room is spacious with easy access to the exterior. Lovely breakfast room from which to enjoy that view! Stunning location.
Great family run guest house.Wonderfully large room. Toilet with a view! Really enjoyed our stay. Beautifully presented breakfast area. Thankyou.
Nothing not to like.
Great beds, friendly staff. Dog friendly.
The bathroom was moldy, and the bread at breakfast was also moldy. Also an odd smell in the dining room. Whole place just needed a freshen up.
The location was wonderful...close to tourist areas without being in town. The accommodation was beautiful and clean and comfortable. Rachell was a most helpful and delightful host. AND was GLuten-free friendly!
I can' think of anything.
Comfortable bed, very tasty breakfast, interior.
Difficult to turn on the heater
Dissapointed that breakfast didn't feature any special Scottish jams or honey etc cheap pre pack only! coffee from machine dissapointing too! Otherwise good.
Made to feel welcome. We had a very comfortable and spacious room.
Very accommodating, dog friendly and brilliant value for money. Our room was on the top floor and was very large, comfortable and clean. Friendly staff and had a lovely stay.
The lady that looks after the guest house is very pleasant and helpful breakfast was very good
The location only one restaurant within walking distance although the food was great and this was booked by the lady from the guest house so just location
The relaxing atmosphere. The friendly staff. The room was very big plenty room.
The bathroom can do with a lick of paint. The spiders webs on the bedroom roof and bathroom light.
Rachel was fantastic! So welcoming and friendly! She gave us some wonderful information about the local area. Highly recommended!
The host was brilliant very friendly, gave us local weather and travel reports for our onward journey. We stayed their twice and will do again in the coming months! The house is very warming and felt like a home away from home!
The friendliness and the cleanliness .The location was lovely. Beds were comfortable and breakfast enjoyable.
My only concern was the keys being left in the door once we entered the room. Have never had that before, and although you could lock from inside it was a bit worrying
Friendly clean and comfortable. Good value for money.
overnight stay on the way further north, comfortable, clean, good breakfast.would love to stop longer to check out the scenery, and surrounding area, lovely location
it was raining but if you didn,t have the rain we wouldn,t have a green and luscious land
