Staff could be friendlier, although they were helpful.
24 May 2015
Noisy room, no blockout curtains and room was light from 5am, only 1 bedsight light and table, dated furniture. Even loch view was shown to be available at time of booking and was requested, was told after booking made (no cancellation conditions) that we had the back room. Big difference in ambience! Dog barking early morning in next room. And no tv in room, which was unexpected.
Great breakfast and lovely dining room

Everything. But if I have to pick one I like the most, I would say the view from our window.

Location, hosts, other guests, charming room and house!

The welcome was warm and the room with en suite bath, shower and toilet was superb. I enjoyed a most comfortable night and the breakfast offered was generous and delicious. I only wish that I could have lingered but all good things have to come to an end somewhere and was a place that I shall have to go back to.

The owners said that they were selling it; it felt like the house itself was "not lived", even though it's a beautiful property in a stunning location. It would do well with some renovation (bathroom was extremely run down). The people who run the property could do with some customer service training (but that's my opinion only)
it was a really nice room with beautiful view of the loch. Plenty of light. Main towns, pubs and places to eat are within easy reach, if you have your own transport.

There was nothing we did not like.
We were very pleased with this property, managed by a mother and daughter who were extremely friendly, hospitable and cooperative. Our room was comfortable, with nice bathroom and great window-view of the Loch.Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the walk in the back garden and took many close pictures of beautiful Loch Linnhe.

The location was marvelous ...easy access from the main highland road and yet the property itself was serene and secluded. The staff were warm and helpful but never intrusive. The dogs, too, were exuberant and hospitable. It was our perfect introduction the wonderful Scottish people and the Highland life. A great respite as we journeyed north.

A beautiful and picturesque setting. Very comfortable bed with quality linen and a friendly hostess at breakfast to give you any hints you may need for a good sight see. A warm and relaxing environment with a hearty and comprehensive breakfast. Dinner options not far away. A quality B&B.

Was too far away from anything. You would definatley need a car to stay here as apart from go on walks there wasn't much else. The nearest place to eat was a 20 minute walk which wasn't ideal at night walking in the pitch black and there was no shop or anything. The rooms weren't what I was expecting for the money we paid. The rooms were a bit old fashioned. We got rushed out our rooms so it could be cleaned even though we had asked for it not to be cleaned.
The view over facing the loch was lovely. Breakfast was pretty good in the morning. There was a welcome book which gave quite a lot of information on what there was to do in the local area. We were given fresh biscuits and water everyday. The garden was lovely also! They had cute dogs.

The hotel was privately run by a mother and daughter. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were very helpful and welcoming. The location was stunning.
27 September 2014
Double bed on the small side and not very supportive matress. Heating cannot be regulated except via opening the window.
