We were very pleased with this property, managed by a mother and daughter who were extremely friendly, hospitable and cooperative. Our room was comfortable, with nice bathroom and great window-view of the Loch.Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the walk in the back garden and took many close pictures of beautiful Loch Linnhe.
There was nothing we did not like.
The location was marvelous ...easy access from the main highland road and yet the property itself was serene and secluded. The staff were warm and helpful but never intrusive. The dogs, too, were exuberant and hospitable. It was our perfect introduction the wonderful Scottish people and the Highland life. A great respite as we journeyed north.
A beautiful and picturesque setting. Very comfortable bed with quality linen and a friendly hostess at breakfast to give you any hints you may need for a good sight see. A warm and relaxing environment with a hearty and comprehensive breakfast. Dinner options not far away. A quality B&B.
The view over facing the loch was lovely. Breakfast was pretty good in the morning. There was a welcome book which gave quite a lot of information on what there was to do in the local area. We were given fresh biscuits and water everyday. The garden was lovely also! They had cute dogs.
Was too far away from anything. You would definatley need a car to stay here as apart from go on walks there wasn't much else. The nearest place to eat was a 20 minute walk which wasn't ideal at night walking in the pitch black and there was no shop or anything. The rooms weren't what I was expecting for the money we paid. The rooms were a bit old fashioned. We got rushed out our rooms so it could be cleaned even though we had asked for it not to be cleaned.
The hotel was privately run by a mother and daughter. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were very helpful and welcoming. The location was stunning.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, wonderful views, good location, tasty breakfast.
Double bed on the small side and not very supportive matress. Heating cannot be regulated except via opening the window.
Beautiful location and perfect hosts.
Everything. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Good selection and choices. Room comfortable.
Wide choice of breakfast, friendly stuffs. A very thoughtful guide for local attraction.
Location, no pub or store nearby and the guest house do not offer food during dinner hour.
Location and breakfast
Room a bit small
Very quiet, perfect location. Lovely accommodation in a cosy atmosphere. Great hosts and delicious breakfast.
The location: overlooking the sea and a few miles drive from Glencoe and off the main road so very peaceful. Service and breakfast were very good. Room comfortable. Easy parking
Everything! Cuilcheanna House is very easy to find, stunningly located with an amazing view on the loch and the perfect start for a walk. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. The room was beautifully decorated and the WiFi was really good. I'm so going back to Cuilcheanna House next year!
The staff is really nice and helpful in giving useful advices. Beautiful view, clean and cozy room. Breakfast with good variety.
For some reason my friend and I ened up going there without a car, since in Onich there's no much access to the public transport. It was really difficult and tough for us. Of course, it's not the hotel's fault, but a car is a must.
When we arrived at Cuilcheanna House our first impression was wow!!. The scenery surrounding the house is beautiful. You really have to see it to believe it. We stayed in the Mull Room which overlooks the garden and the Loch. The view from our window was the best view I think we have ever had the pleasure to wake up to. Breakfast was delicious and fresh milk and shortbread was supplied to our room daily. Thank you Mary and Kirstie and hope to get back soon and stay longer next time.
Beautiful location and warm welcome. Very well looked after. Disappointed we were only staying one night.
Peaceful Excellent breakfast Friendly owners
Majestic view, lovely staff, food, quaint
smallish room with thinnish walls
Loch views, wonderful. Good breakfast.
No Tv in the bedroom, especially when the weather outside is bad.
Loved the scenery and the house itself is very nice. The views from our bedroom looked across the loch and the room was clean and supplied with quality tea-coffee- hot chococate-shortcacke biscuits-and bottled water. Breakfasts are very good with fresh fruit, (prepared daily), full Scottish breakfast, porridge, cereal, to choose from. The breakfasts are cooked perfectly and whatever combination you request. Staff are very pleasant and overall I would have no hesitation returning to this lovely house.
Can't think of anything I did not like and wish I had booked longer!
Breakfasts were good and we had a friendly welcome.
Kirstin and Mary. The view and location. Rooms were clean and well stocked.
The B&B was in a beautiful location and the room was very comfortable. The host was very lovely and helpful in recommending us places to see and eat. The breakfast was also very nice.
Lovely location, quiet, very clean, fantastic breakfast and very welcoming hosts. A great stay!!! We will go back!
