Very friendly staff , fantastic views. The hotel was very clean.
Nothing bad all good.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms and shower facilities were very clean and the food was very nice with various choices. The hotel is situated on a very scenic position and carparking facilities very good.
No bad experiences at all but a lift to the upstairs rooms would be a big help maybe if someone was disabled.
Great hotel, very friendly staff, clean accommodation, beautiful view. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely go back and can recommend anybody to stay here.
friendliness of staff
Staff very friendly and polite, rooms very clean, bright, comfy,Good Wi-Fi and Excellent Food,Well worth a visit
No bedside light
Everything from the friendly staff and owners to the free upgrade on arrival. The table decorations for Phil's birthday meal. The food was cooked to perfection and good value for money. Tea tray well stocked, as was the bathroom. Lovely large fluffy white towels changed each day. The owners are refurbishing all the rooms at present. Thanks for a great weekend.
From the second we walked through the door we were warmly welcomed (even arriving 45mins before check in). Nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay and the service and views make this my favourite hotel in the area. I would highly recommend it.
A very warm welcome. Stunning views from bedrooms, dining room and breakfast room. Staff suceeded in making our stay a memorable one.
Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. I would stay again and have no worries recommending it.
Staff were very good, view is amazing and free wi-fi with reliable signal was very welcome
Food was ok.
Location. Sea view when in breakfast or dining room. Staff friendliness. Cleanliness Tea making facilities with good sized kettle.
Our room was small for a double. Not much storage space. Room decor rather drab. Shower Limited menu if staying a few days.
The view of the Sea
No Heating Weak Wifi
Nice relaxing stay with good friendly staff and good food.Nothing was a problem here.
The food was good
The room was small and the window was very small for a sea view.We expected a bigger room for the price we paid.
Location View from room Friendly Staff Breakfast
The food, the location and while we were there, middle of October, the weather was great. Staff and owners friendly and helpful. Plenty to do in the area and place to visit, but look out for when there season ends. This was my second visit and will go back again.
I am a bit fussy about draught larger that I drink, so could have a better selection as well as other bottled larger.
Lovely views, good food and good car parking (travelling with machinery trailer). Staff all helpful.
You will see locals here for a reason. Hotels are typically more expensive than B&Bs but at ~$90 USD/night, not so far away from a good B&Bs cost. The hotel's restaurant is why the locals visit, it's good, and the view is dreamy, overlooking an old Tom Morris design and one of the top beaches in Scotland. The 'Cullen Skink' was unobjectionable, and something I'll taste next visit. The hotel was so good I stayed a couple extra days to recuperate and enjoy the scene.
location really good,so relaxing and comfortable, very attentive staff
This must be one the friendliest hotels around, all the staff were delightful and at the same time totally professional. generous sized rooms, very clean and that view is quite simply spellbinding, looking forward to staying again in the spring
Yet another hotel that doesn't serve natural yogurt at breakfast , not too much to ask surely, also high tea a bit pricey, cakes nothing special.
Fabulous views, book a sea view. Food was lovely. Owners and staff were very attentive.
Bit over priced. It needs a bit updating in the bedrooms, bathrooms to try and make a bit more space. Public areas need a bit of personality.
Lovely hotel, great view, nice food & friendly staff.
Mattresses need a little more padding, I could feel the springs in both rooms I stayed in! :(
staff first class, helpful, cheerful love location, reminds me of new Zealand beaches. good food, cullen skink became a favourite, as did fish dishes
a bit of noise transmission through walls....mattresses a bit soft for me, but that's very subjective, otherwise fine
everything , the room was lovely ,very comfortable , wonderful views , and the staff were very friendly
