The food at dinner and breakfast was very good

The curtains in the bedroom were poor, letting too much early morning light in.

Lovely stay with very accommodating and friendly staff. Restaurant with a stunning view over the bay. "A la carte" menu varied with lovely fish and nicely presented food. Very happy to recommend this hotel.

Booked room with a seaside view. Avoid room 14 if you can as view a bit restricted though. You can only see half of the bay.

We loved the location of the hotel, right on the beach with great sea view and view of golf course. Excellent friendly staff, lovely room with great coffee maker. Great location within easy walk to Cullen along fantastic stone viaduct, with fabulous views across the bay We intend to visit again during the summer. Even though we were late for breakfast , were still offered full breakfast menu, service second to none, would definitely recommend

The decor in the sitting room!

I very much enjoyed my three day stay at Cullen Bay. I decided to stay on the coast while touring the Whiskey Trail. The location is lovely, up on the bluff overlooking the sea but still an easy walk into town. Right on the coastal trail that connects all the small towns on the north shore The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was excellent with the chef sourcing local ingredients and fresh seafood. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations in this area.

We've had the double room sea-view: the Hotel location is in the middle of the Cullen Bay; between the Hotel and the sea there's a road and golf fields (you are allowed to pass through). Then, perfect location, easy to get by your own car. Big-size bathroom in the room. You can have your meal in the restaurant without reservation: in case it is full of guests, you can wait in a lounge-bar, where the kind staff serves your drinks plus a complimentary starter (good organization). The restaurant fulfills high expectations: nice decorations dishes and good quality menu; warm atmosphere. All staff is really helpful.

Only 2 remarks: a dirty bathrobe was forgotten in the bathroom (but everything else was clean and in order); the sea-view from the room could be really nice without the grey concrete downstairs roof, which is laying under the viewers' nose (our suggestion: cover it with a green topping).

The welcome and information provided. Meals were of the highest standard, and the view from the restaurants is magnificent.

Our room overlooked the golf course and the beach and it was perfect to sit watching the sun go down (yes we saw it) in the window armchairs with a glass of red.The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very welcoming. If you like fish this is certainly the hotel for you. I can still taste the breakfast. Excellent.

We had a lovely room, overlooking the sea. It was comfortable and warm. The breakfast was excellent and the service staff polite and cheerful. We can recommend this hotel with confidence.

We didn't have lunch or dinner as we were visiting relatives and dined with them. As a consequence we know nothing re the meals other than breakfast, which was good.

Excellent food with helpful and efficient staff. Good location with sea views.

Our room was a bit cramped although the sea view compensated.

Comfortable night with a good dinner before the 37 mile Speyside Way race the next day.
