Staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful - made me feel totally at home. Food was excellent. Lovely little bar, and good views across the bay. Attended a family party, and function staff and food were top notch. Lovely peaceful location above the beach and golf course. Location for getting out for walks to the beach and coastal path are spot on. Cullen is only a 15 minute walk along the disused railway line - across viaduct giving excellent views across the bay. Going the other way takes you to the clifftops at Portknockie and the Bow Fiddle Rock. Excellent area for golf, walking, and the beach.

The location was best for us as we were visiting my elderly mother in Findochty. Views over Cullen Bay are exceptional. During our stay there were few other residents. It sometimes felt like you were imposing on the owners. For instance leaving at 3.30 am seemed like an inconvenience to them.

The service from the staff at this hotel is about the best I have ever had in any hotel. They were helpful, courteous and always had time for a chat with the clients. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants good service and a relaxing break. If back in the area I will definitely use the hotel again. Not to mention the excellent selection of malt whiskey's.

We received a warm welcome, loved the seaside setting, ease of parking, and the opportunity to play golf by bay. Enjoyed the access maps at the front desk for walking the area's trails. Loved the closeness to Cullen. My family had an excellent experience with spending time at this facility. We wished we would have had time to spend another day there. Thank you for great memories! The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the area.

Beautiful location and stunning views of the bay. Helpful reception staff. The food could be updated in terms of the offering. More healthy options,a less heavy handed approach to sauces, less potatoes and more fresh veg.
