Beautiful warm room with amazingly comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. First class hotel.We think this is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Would have liked in-room coffee/tea facilities and a kettle. Mentioned this on check out and were informed that tea and coffee is freely available on request, (so really our fault for not asking )

Warning: Culloden House won't tell you by booking that part of the guests are actually not housed at the historic mansion but at a so called annex which is a modern building looking pretentious from the outside and flavourless inside. Otherwise service is approximative and kitchen average.

La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de Inverness. El desayuno abundante y de muy buena calidad. Las habitaciones(triple) es de muy grande. Es un hotel muy recomendable, tanto por las instalaciones como por el servicio. Los jardines que lo rodean son muy bonitos. La cena no es de buena calidad. Es una pena porque es un hotel que sí tiene condiciones para ofrecer una cena de categoría.

Wij hadden een zeer mooie kamer, er is een prachtige tuin, mooie ruime zitruimtes, superrustig gelegen. Is een zeer klassiek Engels hotel en dat is ook een leuk om mee te maken. Het restaurant is tamelijk duur, wel goed van kwaliteit. Er is geen fitness, de mensen die hier komen verlangen dit misschien niet, maar het zou wel een plus zijn.

Historic property with a story. Hotel was "tired"... Had not been updated for years. Sheets and bathroom were clean.... But bedspread was old and stained....fabrics all faded and worn.

We liked everything! The staff were amazing...they carried our luggage from our car right to our room. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the home. We had a lovely 4 poster bed with a huge very modern bathroom. We dressed for dinner and had a drink by the fire while we ordered our meal. We were then escorted to our table in another room reminiscent of a time gone by. Wonder décor, beautiful dishes and great service. The food was wonderful. We felt like we were in our own home! The next morning we needed to leave a bit earlier than when breakfast was served but the staff was very accommodating to get breakfast for us anyway. I would highly recommend Culloden house and would definitely go again. Everything was fine...there were no issues

Incredibly friendly staff. Gorgeous rooms. The dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Compared to the large chain hotels, the whole experience was wonderful. We stayed with our 2 boys aged 6 and 4. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. 10 out of 10! No swimming pool for kids

The staff was very accommodating and friendly-helpful too. Leaky faucets that dripped all night. Doors that were not user friendly; they slammed shut because they were on hinges and customers probably didn't realize that this was a problem. No soap in my bathroom-last two days. Outlandish prices. No transportation available (free to city spots-train station, etc.) A very stale breakfast croissant-rock hard (when you're paying a premium price, you should get premium care!). Burnt out light bulbs. Broken furniture. *This hotel needs lots of updating and work. Were I to go there again, I would not stay at this hotel.
