the setting was good, good nights sleep nice family place very friendly host.
difficult to get out onto road right near a bend, could do with a mirror to see if anythings coming, should have phoned them direct would have been £34 cheaper than booking.com,what a con.
Freindly welcoming owner and great breakfast.
Lot of road noise, meant poor nights sleep. Place looking very tired - paper hanging off ceiling; wallpaper peeling off landing toilet.
I had good time staying there with my daughter as we came to visit Exeter university. Thank you for warm welcome and quality conversation over the coffee in the morning:)
i would like it more with a little bit refurbishment
Easy access from university Good sized room ( Rosey Room) Beautiful Victorian House Friendly welcome and felt at home. Reasonable price for bed & breakfast
The person who had a bath in the morning while we were waiting to have a shower. Windows not very well-fitting but very few cars on road & lovely warm quilt.
Owners were very helpful and nice.
Decor a little old fashioned and quirky so a bit different to stereotype hotels most economic option in area Friendly owner
Wish they had en-suite Some redecoration soon would be beneficial
beautiful location, very friendly staff,
lack of dining options ( breakfast only )
The room was spacious and had an old world colonial feel. Easy to get into Exeter. House has lots of character Bed was very comfortable
The exit onto the road is dangerous as you can't see the oncoming traffic until you have pulled out quite a way.
The cozy climate, nice owner, quiet neighborhood, large room and very comfortable bed. Only access to the village a little complicated but in the south of England is normal. we highly recommend
The friendliness of staff and the welcome we received
Althoigh we knew we would be sharing a bathroom we did expect the people we shared with would leave things as they found them
Warm welcome from the owners. Unusual and interesting style of furnishings.Meeting interesting guests over deliciously tasty and freshly cooked breakfast.
Overnight noise from busy road.
Ambience and style (i.e. gardens, furniture etc.)were very pleasant. Breakfast was very good.
Bedroom was near the road and there was some traffic noise.
the house is gorgeous the people are lovely
Large rooms good food bed linen and towels laundered well
Dust cane furniture really needed cleaning musty smell as you walked in to house
I was made to feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
I found the room very cold and had to sleep in my dressing gown!
Excellent service from Rebecca and her husband, they went out of their way to ensure our comfort.
No bad points to report.
Spacious room in what was once a beautiful old home. Raining so didn't see any of the garden. Good location away from busy Exeter.
Decor is a little jaded
