Location very good
The bed was very uncomftable, you could feel the springs when you lay down. The quality needs to be improved. Noise in the early hours was loud from the clubs opposite and pub in the street emptying
The Location - near to the Cavern Quarter & Shops. Good Value, clean, and fairly well equipped. Would suggest addition of small sharp knife and salad/fruit bowl
The noise from the disco across the road kept us awake
Noise from nightclub 10 feet away from door, street noise until 5am. Dish washer didn't work, needs DVD player and more than 5 TV channels Second Bedroom in the Living room without a door.
Having stayed in a SACO apartment a few months before we were completely shocked by the Base apartment we booked in Liverpool Only stayed one night instead of the planned three and owner is not prepared to refund any money In a back street Right by a noisy night club - no sleep till after 1 a.m. Dingy No air con and it was hot & sticky NO WIFI ( in 2014!!) No lift No table to eat at Not even a chopping board Doors of freezer sections fell off Couldn't wait to leave! Sheila
It was a safe location. Clean, tidy, practical and had good but plain facilities. The comfiest beds I have slept in for a very long time!
Firstly two windows were broken and could not be closed. This was annoying at night time when the noise from outside kept us awake ALL night. This was a long term problem and ought to have been rectified before letting out! The basin in the bathroom also was not working efficiently because the water failed to drain. The back window also needs a sash curtain to stop people from above getting a cheap thrill. Just niggles but once put right it will be an A1 place to stay!
Very convenient for city centre. Pubs and restaurants close by. Spacious apartment. Secure parking.
The street was a bit seedy, and there was no view from the apartment.
Home from Home Tesco up the street highly recommend their sirloin steaks we dined in apartment lovely! I would highly recommend Base Serviced Apartments to anyone visiting Liverpool. Everything from staff to location. Even the local people of Liverpool. Wonderful. Thankyou.
Easy walking distance to the shops and clubs near by.
The horrible Foxy's club that looks right into the apartment. When you look out of the balcony, drunks, goths and emo's stare up at you. Music was blaring all Friday night, all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Swearing, arguing and smashing glasses.
Convenient for shopping and nice restaurants etc. Very easy to find.
We paid the extra £10/night for parking but it was difficult to find and we weren't given the card to access past the bollards. We eventually found it though but had to go down a one way straight to get in. Bed wasnt very comfortable but overall we were happy with the stay.
The apartment was a short walk to the CBD, the rail stations, the wharf, the art gallery, the museums and the shopping. Excellent location and value for money.
-Too much noise from street. There's no informations on website that they are located in clubbing area. -Poor ventilation in the building and room. -Broken bathroom. Water flew all day and night -Unauthorized housekeeper entered the room. -Not flexible and standardised management.
Central location helpful staff.
Early checkout time with a walk from the apartment to the head office. Only one key for the apartment - a problem when with a group of friends.
Clean and comfortable good facilities
Little bit noisy with clubs opposite ! expensive parking
Apartment was so spacious and in amazing location. No problems with noise even though bars and clubs just outside. Liverpool is a beautiful city well worth a visit.
Parking is a tight squeeze. I found the Eastern European guy at reception difficult to deal with, the blond Polish girl was lovely.
Reception staff polite and welcoming and very helpful..we'd stay again would also recommend to friends
The apartment itself
Company wanted a massive £150 secure deposit on key and fob loss! Eventhough The main door to the apartment block didn't lock, and anybody could have walked in!Regardless of telephoning the company it wasn't fixed. Security was comprimised in a big way
like the fact that it was in easy to get to the shopping centre and the night life and the price
the fact that there was no lift
Very great room.
Much, much better than a hotel. Come & go as you please, cook your own food, so you don't have to live on sweaty kebabs for the duration of your stay. Brilliant if a few of you are sharing, bit on the expensive side for a solo stay.
The deposit they don't tell you about until you try to check in. The trouble is, you pay online, as you would for a hotel, & when you arrive to check in they insist on a security deposit, which in all fairness is just frozen in your bank account, not actually taken, until departure. Most contractors will not have these additional funds available & since the payment on the apartment is non refundable, if you don't have the deposit....... You will loose the cost of the apartment, end up with no digs & be left with no further money to source alternative digs.
The apartment was very well located, close of the principals sights of the city!
very noisy, directly opposite two night clubs and beside a busy bar.Apartment building on a very narrow busy street, lots of vagrants hanging around drinking etc.The building has four floors and no lift!!. reception and security was a twenty minuet walk away.We stayed for five nights and never had our apt. serviced, towels linen etc.We would not use them again.
the location and the parking
the second room was in the living room, it was too expensive for what it was, hot water didn't work. opposite a nightclub so very noisy
i didn't like the office was a bit far away if anything was to happen
It was just fantastic way of spending quality time with friends in one apartment but having your own bedrooms rather than having separate rooms like you do in hotels :) Location was perfect too
There was nothing I didn't like about my apartment or my stay :)
