Very well situated within edinburgh easy to and from City, staff are helpful and pleasent, rooms are spacious comfortable and well facilitated, breakfast was lovely with good options and for the price to be this cheap for the experience is even better! Value for money for sure and also quality within! Recommended stay for sure and I will stay again next time I'm overi n edinburgh
That's theres nothing to complain about!
Ease of access to the city centre. The Breakfast was good.
The room was noisy both from above and the proximity of the kitchen. there was only one key supplied for the room which meant my wife could not do as she pleased while I was out.
The hotel had a lot of character and the welcome at the reception was warm, friendly and the check-in was quick and stress-free. There was a nice atmosphere and the staff were helpful.
Did not like the noise of the television in the bar, background music would have been better. The bar was only manned for the time it took to serve a drink then they disappeared. Did not enjoy making own toast at breakfast, could have been a health and safety issue for some.
Good breakfast staff couldn't do enough for you if we stay there again would be in main house
Bed was hard as rock stayed in an ex it was very cold
Location to downtown Character of property Upgrade received Breakfast Parking on site Wifi available in room
Noisy on street side due to single paned windows, noise from reception and guests on stairs. No lift Unattractive rooms Hard bed Small bathroom Noisy fan
Hotel was good and room 12 was warm and comfortable, bathroom was new by its look and very modern, there was plenty of hot water but we did not use the shower however it looked new also. We were comfortable for the two nights we stayed and the breakfast was very good we did not have any complaints about this hotel.
The weather was very bad and very cold so it was a blessing that the room was warm.
great value.plenty of room to park.bus stop outside hotel.run every 10 mins to princess st.walkable aswell
Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and tidy and decent size with a view over the garden. Breakfast was good and you could help yourself to toast, cereal, juice, coffee etc as well as get a cooked breakfast.
Hairdryer was wired directly into a plug socket that didn't have a fused switch and kept cutting out.
The staff and the location are perfekt.
I dont have.
TELEVISION NOT WORKING
Proximity to centre of Edinburgh Value for money On-site car parking Friendly, efficient, helpful staff
TV did not work
Great location with friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and for the price..... cant fault it.
Not really a complaint but my room was cold on occasion and my bathroom seemed to be in another hemisphere. Very cold but then it is an old building with nice high ceilings. Could perhaps do with curtains to retain heat and finish the room.
Hated every bit of it
The staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The food and facilities were excellent and good value for money. Our family room was well appointed and spacious and our two grand-daughters (both early teens) loved it. A good location with easy bus routes nearby.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Large, clean, comfortable family room and great cooked breakfast included. Decent sized car park and a 10 minute walk to city centre.
staff room and price. overnight stay for an early flight just had to cross the road for the great bus service every10 minutes. very quiet room and great tv
Room opposite kitchen very noisy.
Friendly staff. Great location. Great value.
Have stayed twice now. En suites could do with upgrading.
Good price for central Edinburgh on a last minute booking and a decent breakfast
Ok it could do with a spring clean but for the money we paid it did the job
As we were in Edinburgh for the rugby at Murryfield this hotel was ideally situated.
Bedrooms could be doing with an update but we're comfortable enough.
Clean room Free parking Scottish breakfast included Staff were friendly and helpful Welcome food 20 minutes walk from downtown
Strength of wifi signal not enough for cellphone connection, although laptop worked well
The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need while traveling. The staff member I met when I arrived, Cristian, made sure we will have a pleasant stay. I will definitely choose the same place on my next visit to Edinburgh.
