The staff on the reception desk were friendly and genuinely were interested in making your stay as comfortable as possible The television did not work and there are no instructions on how to put on the the TV |

The best thing about this hotel is the location, seconds from Marble Arch, Oxford street shops, and tube station so really convenient to get to all the major attractions in London. It's also really close to restaurants and cafes so don't spend £22 a head on the hotel breakfast. Venture onto Oxford street or the side streets for a more reasonably priced bite to eat Painfully slow check in, once we got to our room and unpacked we had a phone call asking if we would like to upgrade to a king size bed (not king size room note). Then there was a knock at the door - maintenance coming to fix a broken shower tray, so they weren't actually upgrading us!!! The room we moved to was smaller (even though the bed was bigger) and unfortunately so near the air conditioning units on the roof that it was impossible to sleep. The bar is pricey and they automatically add 12.5% service to the bar bill (even if you've simply ordered the drink yourself at the bar). Don't be fooled by the glamourous public areas - this is clearly where the money has been spent, the bedrooms I would say are adequate. |

The location only. The rooms are too small and I had to pay extra 25 Pounds daily for a bigger room. The room service is poor. I will never repeat this experience again. |

The place is central. Friendly staff. heating was poor in room. We had to ask for an extra electric heater. The breakfast at hotel is poor & expensive. There could be a better & cheaper breakfast. |

Nice hotel, very fancy reception area so you expect the same from the rooms but you find yourself to be a disappointed. Having said that the rooms are more than adequate and very comfy. Don't drink in the hotel bar unless you have re-mortgaged your house, loads of places near by for drinks. Book in advance for a good rate and this hotel is worth it. |

Welcoming staff, good organisation of luggage etc and excellent location for theatres and West end shopping. Also interesting foyer with the various pieces of artwork and installations even though I didn't quite understand them Although it was evident that a lot had gone into the design of our room and bathroom, it actually didn't work. Glass door of bathroom with gaps was no good for a romantic weekend. Nowhere to put soap near basin. Impossible to reach and turn on shower without standing under freezing water first before getting to hot water. No bedside table on one side of bed and not a single well-lit mirror that I could get near for making up |

The location for central London is second to none. With Oxford St on the doorstep, it is perfect for the weekend shopper. Close to all amenities, including tube and Hyde Park makes it easy to get to and an excellent choice for both families and business travellers, We booked a travel cot for our 5 month old daughter, however could not use it because the matress was so worn and lumpy. She slept in our bed instead. It would not put me off staying there again however, the bed was more than big enough for the 3 of us. |

Rooms were great, very comfy bed, quiet at night, excellent breakfast and superb location. No twin rooms as requested but receptionist sorted problem. Took almost an hour. |

The very helpful doorman The room was terrible.It was supposed to be a double but I would only rate it single.Yes it had a double bed but the room was so small the bed was up against the wall.As my wife and I are both in our sixties we sometimes have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night which meant the person on the outside of the bed had to be wakened so as the other one could get out.We should have complained at the time but we are the type of people that dont like to complain.The room was also very noisy we where on the 5th floor at the back and the noise from the air conditioning units where down below us the lack of double glazing meant that we could hear the noise all night long |

I was unable to use the shower as you couldn't operate it without getting in & getting a gush of icy water; no obvious way of moving the shower head off centre to try & change the heat setting -or any controls! |

At arriving at the Hotel the booking details was different from what I had. We were 2 paries travelling at different times .Person B was on the first day's booking and only arrived the next day. To try and explain this to the receptionist was virtually impossible due to a language barrier. I wanted to extend my stay for one day in the same room, only to be told that I have to check out the next day and book in again. One does not appreciate ineptness of this kind after being on a plane for 11 hours. Fantasic Hotel |
