5 mins walk to Glouster Station which is part of London city centre circle line. Cafés and restaurants about 5 mins walk as well.
Room quality is fair but it can be enhanced to be better.
Very friendly and great location, nice view of gardens in square
Very basic, but fine as we were on a budget
Location and breakfast was good, shared shower and toilet were clean.
The room was moldy, dark and small in the basement.
- very nice part of town - lovely old house in which the hotel is situated - friendly staff - free wi-fi - I liked everything
- the dining room is small and thus crowded but I guess it cannot be helped because of the architecture - it is an old building and there are no big rooms - it would be nice to have a vending machine with drinks and snacks
Small beds One pillow
Good location, nice staff. Shower was good, but basin was mini.
poor quality of beds, breakfast was poor, no kettle for tea/coffee in the room. The walls and so on need to be cleaned and the decoration of them needs to be fininshed...
Friendly staff, very good location, nice surrounding Good bathrooms and showers Fair breakfast, appropriate kitchen and fridge, tea and instant coffee available for free dawn till dusk Fabulous price/quality ratio
the possibility to use the kitchen
good location (underground is close, non stop Tesco), WiFi, clean room and toilet, good price
breakfast was good but little choice, strange door opening (room B), the shower wasn't so nice
Great value for money in London!! Pretty simple, but you get what you are paying for Pretty close to the underground, but if you want a nice morning walk you can head into the city via hyde park, buckingham palace etc
The price, the location, the self-catering facilities
Reception being in the basement and my room being 4 floors up with no lift. The mattress was uncomfortable.
Quiet location, close to tube station, super market,. Good price for London.
No lift. Dorm room will be 4th floor.
location, clean, rooms are big and comfortable, good wifi, silent
old beds with broken springs
WIFI Modern bathrooms Location No curfew
We walked into our room, and we were rather discappointed, as the room was'nt the same as it was showen to me on the internet. The room was'nt comfortable over all, the walls were dirty, our windows were chained in such a way that were unable to open it to get fresh air, considering that it was summer!!! Our stay included breakfast, which we never used, as were werent given any information as to the times that breakfast would be served. We werent aware of the cleaning times, as we notices that there had been someone in our room. We asked to cut our stay short and leave Wednesday instead of Friday as planned, we did how ever recieve 150 pounds back, which we were really greatfull for.
Excellent value for money. Best I have found in London! Lovely quiet neighborhood, a short walk from Earls Court tube stop. Quite large dormitory rooms. Good basic breakfast. Nice lounge room with tv.
Reception usually closes early. Gloucester Road tube stop under construction for the Piccadilly Line. Very few toilets for dormitory room guests. Some guests had problems with wifi.
Friendly staff, use of kitchen
Needed some 'freshening up' - decor and shower facilities (grouting awful)
Location and cleanliness.
Stairs and a bit to basic.
* rude and unfriendly personnel * terrible breakfasts * room in a basement (cold, tempature in the night about 13-14 Celcius grades) * every sound was heard in the room (from kitchen, from reception, from outside) and problem with normal sleeping and at the end... dead mouse next to bed...
The location is good and central, it's just two stations away from Victoria railway station with Gatwick Express Train. The internet worked fine
The place looks like it got turned into a hotel from an old convent with beds from the same place. Extremely firm beds. Breakfast lasts from 7 till 9 am, I came 10 minutes before that and was refused to eat. People complained they had a rat in the room. And there's almost no water in the room's shower the higher the floor. Horrible place even for one night sleep
Very good location for the Natural History Museum, etc. Sainsbury's around the corner. Very quiet area. Inside a bit old, but much cleaner than I expected. Clean sheets, bathrooms. Staff very helpful. Iron-board, electricity adapters, etc. available (on demand). You can leave the luggage after check-out.
No lockers, however the precious things you can safely leave in the reception (I would call it neutral then).
Lovely zone. Restaurants near. Close to Underground stations Earl's Court and Gloucester, easy to go pretty much anywhere from there. People is quiet and friendly. Only slept a night there, and had no disturbances.
A bit hard to actually get to the place, but it's not Curzon Hotel's Fault, the Courtfield Gardens Road takes a 90 degree turn and keeps the same name, and the numbers change not that linearly, so it might be hard to get there, but once you know where it is, you get there easy. I had to make my bed (not that it's a problem, but, for the price...) Also had to go 5 floors upstairs with mallets to get to my room (no lift) No "big" problems here, but again, for the price you pay, it's just about right or fair. Not bad but not over average.
Close to two underground stations. Clean. Breakfast was great and included in the price. Were able to leave luggage before check-in
The double room was very large with en suite bathroom. The bed was comfortable and toast and orange juice provided in the morning. Location seven minute walk from subway and surrounded by restaurant options. Staff was friendly upon check in.
Room on ground floor across from reception, beside kitchen and front of the street means noise 24/7. No hot water for the shower. No television in room. Staff and guests smoking in front of property where it clearly says not to...which led to our room smelling of smoke. Reception closes at 11 pm...was woken up several times in the middle of the night to people banging and screaming to be let in to the building when key didnt work and no staff is on site. Partying in lobby well into the night, we never slept well.....this is more like a hostal not a hotel.
simple no-frills accommodation close to tube.
No frills, so not for you if you expect lift, toiletries and tea-making facilities.
The comfort of the room, although it was shared there were comfortable single beds and not bunks as in other hostels I've stayed in.
The number of stairs to climb [I'm 68] and the fact that although there was an ensuite bathroom, it did not include a toilet. Also, the location was not convenient for the events I was there to see. I had to get 2 buses each way.
