Curzon House Hotel

It was very central and the room was comfy. Staff were very helpful.

Breakfast could have been more substantial - it was just toast, cereal and tea/coffee. My mattress wasn't comfy.

I arrived at night and they left me keys in the special place, very quiet location, silence in the hotel, good location

Hotel is in great location, close to tube and nice neighbourhood. We arrived quite late so reception called us if we will get to hotel on time or if she should arrange keys for us in other way. We get reall small room for first night but receptionins offered us to change it next day after guests will leave another bigger room...really great service.

We stayed for 3 nights and every morning was for breakfast toast butter, jam and peanut butter...

We had a room for four friends and we were surprised by how spacious and homely it was, and it perfectly suited our needs. The beds are comfortable and separated, not bunk-beds as you will find in many hostels. Attached to our room was a small shower room (with nice hot water!), and there were two bathrooms on our floor so there are plenty of facilities available. Location is great, 5 minutes walk down the road from the tube station in a nice area of London. The room was extremely quiet, facing a quiet park and church and as such we all had a pleasant night's sleep.

It should be noted that if you have a lot of big bags with you there is no lift and a lot of stairs, but it is manageable. The breakfast room is on the small side which means it got full quite quickly.

Poor stndards of maintenance every where. Double room booked definitely no more than squashed single bed springs shot floor boards all need relaying hanging space waste of time Smelt stale of smoke Bathroom and toilet discusting dirty in need of immeadiate repair! Far too many to share bathroom and toilet too far from rooms! Breakfast included was a joke left didnt even get acknowledged!! Kitchen available is states outside that is also a joke1 yOUR awful hotel ruined our stay in lONDON!

disappointed with breakfast, there were just bread, coffee, milk and jam. nothing more. shower room seemed really old..so.. some pieces from the ceiling fell down on me during a shower..just a few portable radiators in a room which made me feel cold at night.

I liked the spartan comfort combined with cleanliness that allowed a good price

The gentleman who I think was the owner was very friendly and helpful, the receptionist on check-in also very friendly. Room was clean.

The staff member on duty the next morning for breakfast was not very helpful, she sat having her own breakfast and did not tell us how the whole set-up works.Saw we were a little confused and ignored us anyway, I did not actually know that she worked there until I asked about check out. Also we were in room A and it was very noisy in the morning. We were woken up at 8am. Toilet had problem refilling and flushing.

not seen bathrooms is such a grim condition in 20+ years. In desperate need of upgrade. The hotel should make it clear they do not provide towels - if they had I would have brought some!

Could not sleep the first night as room was far too hot, heating turned too high. As it was shared accommodation in dormitory did not say anything

Our room had a small kitchenette which we found useful. We had plenty of space and the room was warm. We were a short 5 min walk from Gloucester station in a safe, well lit area of London.

The walls were a bit dirt and sometimes the other guests were too loud at a time when we were trying to sleep after a long day.

As the check-in time lasted at 11pm and I arrived at the very late time in London, the hotel staff called and informed me where she put the key so I could directly access to the hotel and the bed-room. It was very nice of the staff and I did appreciate it. The bed-room is standard and clean and so is the bath-room. In my opinion, it is fair enough for such price given. It is easy to access to the underground station which is about 5 minutes walk to Gloucester station.

The friendly welcome, the comfortable stay in our room (8) was very clean and even though the continental breakfast was very basic, it certainly was quite filling. It was ideal either as a 1-2 nights stay and within walking distance to some of the lovely shops, especially the restaurants in South Kensington.

The stairs...too many to climb. The shower near us was out of order. Not enough seating area for breakfast - I felt I was rushing my breakfast in order to give-up my seating for someone else. WI-FI - I was told it was free, even though you have to pay a subscription via BT internet....but that seems to be the norm in most hotels I've stayed.

The hotel was very cheap and the room was sufficient, clean, pleasantly quiet, and you can use small shared kitchen.

There are too few shared toilets and I had to wait several times especially in the morning. The breakfast is very poor; however, it is not surprizing considering the cost.

My check in date was 2nd Nov & as per booking.com condition i was allowed to cancel 2 days in advance with no charge but my card was charged for first night on 24 th Oct i.e more then a week in advance, although i arrived & stayed at the booking date & period but Advance charge was very upsetting for me, booking.com should notice this.

Kind helpful staff and very affordable with an excellent location

The cleanliness of the room was a bit poor but might have had more to do with who I was sharing the room with!
