I loved the breakfast spread, which was good for that amount.
Had a little glitch connecting to the WIFI but that was sorted eventually.
The price was very good, Very close to tube station. Very good basic hotel. Would stay again for business or leisure .
tidy clean hotel near Excel. Good breakfast options
Tiny Bathroom pod ,no bath, twin beds, noisy air con.
Bad design on shower cubicle door handle too close to scalding hot shower control & my daughter burnt her had as she closed the door to use shower
Very tasty breakfast. Easy to find and overall good location, infrastructure to move around. Very convenient place to stay at when participating any show at Excel.
No wifi! Eventhough it does show you available network and it "connects", it does not give you any option to login further to start using internet. Technical supports instructions did not help either. Due to business trip - such thing had a big negative influence in overall impression. The ventilation in the bathroom was way too loud! I had to fall asleep with my head under the blanket.
Fast checkin/checkout **what a fantastic nights sleep***i want a bed like that!!! Rail tube easy transfer.fast wifi. Iwill be back again
Not too sure what the sausages were made of at breakfast but the rest ok
The pub attached is a bit basic with only basic food options and not enough bar staff!!
Location was good for what we needed and breakfast was the highlight!
I know it is London but the room was like a logo house and the bathroom was like a train toilet! Very disappointed for the money
Location Breakfast room is clean and bright, offering for breakfast is good enough
Very uncomfortable beds Wifi was shocking, had to keep getting new codes Bathrooms were tiny Everything included is what the marketing said..including fluffy duvets etc. Nothing of the sort. Restaurant closed on Sunday Pub was shocking, grubby and food just awful. Actually came out smelling of grease - yuk!
This hotel is situated exactly near the excel trade show, can easily get a train to central london
Very good location for Excel centre. Good breakfast. Great value food in the hotel pub
Staff, cleanliness and location were great
Room was freezing cold and small space heater was inadequate. Also beds were very hard and uncomfortable.
The staff were very pleasand and efficient, it was all very clean and well maintained
Poor signage from the car park to the reception. Duty receptionist sat 21st Feb before 7am was a complete pain. I wanted to go to my car to get some documents, he wanted to know my room number and for me to pay £12.00, I repeatedly told him I wasn't leaving and that I had pre paid the room, he was adamant to receive the information, what also made me laugh, he said "we have standards to uphold", well he should of looked in the mirror, his attire was absolutely filthy. would I come back, NO.
Lovely staff and the integral pub was better than anticipated.
My room had an adjoining door to the next room - I could hear everything and really disturbed me. Like having someone else in the room.
The nice calm pub next to the hotel was a treat.
I missed nutella for the breakfast and the cheese was not so very good. Also it would have been nice with some vegetables for breakfast. I didn´t like that the housekeeper walked in two times without knocking and waiting for an answer in the morning.
Definitely VFM. To the extent that-dare I say it-its underpriced! Very good breakfast choice. i was amazed to see the number dining. The hotel itself seemed so quiet. (The DLR is alongside and the airport not far away-I couldn't hear either)
Wifi was dodgy. Partly due to not being switched on on top floor 5 but still not showing up on my available wifis when it was switched on to log into. (Could be my Ipad?) When I finally got on line it was good reception and speed
I like the breakfast
Everything we required was on site
Appreciate why there are building works around the Hotel, but feel that there should be clearer hotel signage at the DLR platform. When you arrive disorientated, you can see the Hotel, but difficult to work out how to get there until you reach the final exit
Not far from Central London, but can have a quiet relaxing night sleep
The reception and breakfast staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel was clean, nicely designed rooms were of satisfactory size, FREE Wifi excellent . Adequate Tourist information available and very close to Custom House DLR station(3-5mins)
I Think we were in a disabled access room , on the first floor., although this was not a huge issue. Additionally we booked on the day, so possibly last rooms available. would have preferred to be on a higher floor if I had a choice.
Great WiFi, I was allowed to check in early and leave a bag for s number of days
The construction for the DLR station " and that won't last"
The breakfast wasn't to bad
The staff at check in, when I asked about parking my car, they said they had no room and would have to park at the Exel centre (300yd walk away) because parking was on a first come first served basis. I told them that it didn't say this on their website and if I was to know that, then I would never have driven to the hotel. After about 5 mins of making it obvious that I wasn't happy with this situation he made a phone call and all of a sudden managed to find a spot for me. We booked two rooms, a twin for my teenage kids (nice size) and a double for myself and my wife, it was so small I thought they were having a joke, the saying "you couldn't swing a cat" come's to mind, I wanted to complain but my wife was so tired after the long journey she told me not too. Will we book with Ibis again .....never.
room door is like paper dint sleep very well
