Proximity to Excel and transport links, own restaurant and adjoining bar serving drinks and pub style food. the steps from the immediate reception area down to the lifts - awkward with heavy luggage.

The location is perfect when visiting The London Excell Our room was facing the road and was therefore noisy. We could hear people's heels clicking on the payment!!

1. Its close proximity to the Exel and cleanliness. 2. Friendly staff. 1. Staff were dis-organised i.e. check-in was a shambles, rooms were double booked, the process took nearly an hour. 2. Limited choice for a late night snack/meal. 3. no vegan/vegetarian breakfast option.

Proximity to DLR and Excel. I booked two rooms for two nights. My colleague fell ill, so didn't use his room. I reported this when I checked in. I did not expect a refund for the first night, but I wou;d have expected one for the second night (I notified the cancellation well in excess of 24 hours)

Easy to access and directly opposite Custom House dlr station. Good location for ExCel and probably London City Airport (the planes are certainly flying pretty close on take-off). No wi-fi in rooms and the free cable internet doesn't work with MacBook Thunderbolt adaptors. Beds could be more comfortable and 'design' could be more inviting. Triple-glazed windows facing the airport would be nice too.

The hotel is located just next to the DLR station, which is very good infact for those who use train service. The room is clean and of good size. The comp. breakfast is of very poor quality. There is no much option. We ve been disappointed since we requested for an Egg Omlet which is very common in any breakfast. But the manager told NO very politely. Hardly there was some option for breakfast. Even the breakfast hall is very small and it will be very crowded. The toilet in the room is very tiny. Looks like a restroom of a flight. It was sttinking as well.

The colours, the slightly wider corridors and the separate breakfast area. Staff generally were pleasant. One female staff working behind the bar was particularly helpful late on Sunday night. The shower was dreadful. The water never stayed at the same temperature for more than a few seconds. It was mainly cool or cold. Only on one (fortunately brief) occasion was it actually too hot. It took at least half an hour to have a shower. So much water was wasted while waiting in the vain hope that the water would get to a comfortable heat. Both my companion and I vowed not to stay at an Ibis again purely as a result of the ridiculous shower situation. My companion is not one to swear but I heard several oaths whilst they were attempting to shower. Perhaps thermostatic valves should be installed? Was it because room 459 is at the farthest point from the source of hot water?

The price was probably the thing I liked. The staff were not really welcoming. The room was small & basic, probably what you should expect for the price. This is NOT a four star, more like a two or three tops.

Liked the Location as we were very close to the O2 and the Westfields shopping centre. No plugs around the mirror for straighteners and no mirror around where the plugs were situated in the room. The hairdryer was not very powerful. The beds were a litte hard.

I wasn't actually able to stay at this hotel as I couldn't locate it!!! It took me two hrs in which I came across two other ibis hotels, very similarly named, both tried to direct me to the hotel I should have been staying at but it was impossible to locate in the car. This made me two hrs late for an important meeting. In the end I had to leave my car at the second ibis I found & book another room there!! Costing me twice the amount I should have been paying. Your map & location details for the hotel are poor & deceiving. The ibis that is actually named on the map you provide when booking is the one I ended up staying at. The address details you provide took me to an isolated road surrounded by road works with no sign of the ibis or no signs to the ibis for that matter.

Excellent location directly opposite the DLR, great for getting to the O2.. Hotel was really lovely and clean and ideal for what we needed for our 1 night stay.. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.. Couldn't of asked for more for the money we paid.. Great value for money and would definitely stay here again next time we go to the O2 or surrounding areas.. Didn't find anything wrong on our short stay
