The bed was the largest bed I have ever seen. The room smelt of nappies and the 'bathroom' looked something akin to a portacabin or train toilet. It certainly smelt like one. For £70 a night it was disgusting.

Close to dlr for access to town Unfortunately although it was a refurbished room there was a strong smell of damp in shower room even when the extractor fan had been on overnight!

The bedroom, specially the shower room was spotless one of the cleanest and I work in hotels.! The only thing is the price of wifi, £3 for 15 mins, wouldn't use.

location and had a good lively bar...lift service was very fast as well. Continental breakfast was overpriced, worth paying extra to get the full breakfast. Didnt compare to a premier breakfast on range or value

Clean travelodge type hotel,ideal location for excel and o2,literally across road from Custom House DLR station,room small but perfectly adequate. OK for central London too as only 15 minutes by DLR from Tower Gateway. Recommended.

Location close to business meeting Breakfast. Not good for price. Tinned fruit including tinned fruit salad. Everything seemed to be cooked well in advance and soggy or dry. Very poor indeed can get a better one round the corner at half the price.

It was great value for money. The rooms were rather good size for what we paid and decent facilities too. One cannot say that this is poor or basic when the shower was new and the room had a kettle,supplied tea/coffee , sugar and milk, hair dryer, towels, soap and small shampoo/body wash and even spare pillows. Basic would not have this and basic would not have the ample storage space that this one had. It was also very convenient for O2 and the Caribbean Scene (restaurant ) one stop away was a great find too!

For the price I paid it was fair hotel was clean . breakfast was good the only probs room and bathroom tiny 2 sockets in the wall to charge laptop need more sockets internet/car parking a rip off went to bed after long day to be woken @ 4am by reception to inform me my taxi was waiting for me [ I never orderded a taxi ] that wrecked my sleep sorry for going on with my probs I will use your company again thank you but not custom house hotel

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the service provided by the staff was excellent. It is also conveniently situated close to the dlr and and the Excel Centre. The shower was lst class and hot water was immediate, excellent if you are in a hurry. I will recommend Custom House and will certainly stay there again when attending the Excel Centre. The in-case cafe wasn't open during our stay, but I trust this is only a temporary situation.

De room and bathroom were clean and served their purpose. It was easy to get to the hotel by DLR and was therefore a perfect place to stay after a concert in the O2 Arena. Personnel wasn't very friendly. Breakfast was very expensive, but not very good.

very close to Excel centre and couldnt be closer to tube station . Polite and friendly staff and was able to leave luggage in locked room after checking out and collected it around 9pm that night which saved us having to trail it around all day as conference didnt end till after 9.
