The bed was the largest bed I have ever seen. The room smelt of nappies and the 'bathroom' looked something akin to a portacabin or train toilet. It certainly smelt like one. For £70 a night it was disgusting.

The staff were excellent, the receptionists were very polite and helpful as were the bar staff, nothing was too much trouble even though the hotel was extremely busy with a World Skills function being held at the Excel Centre, the staff remained calm and very friendly. We had a problem with the car barrier and I rang the front desk from the car to get some help, someone was with us in no time, friendly and attentive. Well done! We came back into the hotel late and asked about food/drink, we were tired and as the bar/restaurants were busy the receptionist rang a local pizza take away to be delivered to the room, the barman provided us with bottle of wine and glasses so we could also take those to the room and relax. The only thing I was not happy with was the bathroom, it looked more like a portakabin! The shower was claustrophobic with a strange door that seemed to belong more in an aeroplane! All in all though the hotel suited its purpose for us which was a one night stay to allow us to visit relatives.

Nothing...I Will not be returning to the hotel. It felt like a prison. The bed was so uncomfortable and made me itch. The noise from other guests made it imossible to sleep. I will not be recommending the hotel or ever staying there again.

It was cheap and that was the only thing I can say about it. The room was adequate, but the bathroom was a plastic pod which was of poor design and standard. Bathroom was very poor.

My 12yr old son and I stayed at the hotel as we were attending a concert at the nearby O2 arena. The location was ideal - with fast and convenient transportation to and from the venue via the DLR (from Custom House station to Canning Town) and the Jubilee line (from there to North Greenwich). The hotel itself was cheap (compared to others in the vicinity) and although quite basic, is clean and modern. Our twin room was small, but cosy and afforded us the facilities we needed. I would recommend the hotel for short-term visits and will likely stay there in the future if attending functions in the area. We did-not partake of breakfast as it was quite expensive and my son is a fussy eater! Similarly, the bar and restaurant were not used by ourselves but other guests seemed to be pleased with both. No real complaints other than the room was a little hot, stuffy (although it was early August!) and occasionally noisy due to traffic, but the positive aspects more than outweighed the minor negatives.

A very modern 21st century hotel. Nice breakfast and good facilities including a Chinese restaurant in-house. Wonderful helpful friendly staff. A perfect location for ExCel.

The bed was uncomfortable and a number of foreign guests decided to sing and dance in the carpark at 6:00am just below our window which woke us up.

Proximity to train station made it easy for us to access this hotel, because we were travelling by train only. It was only a 3 minute walk from station to hotel. Some of the staff appeared to be very efficient, to the detriment of being friendly. It is always nice to be given a smile and greeting, rather than just being told to help yourself to the buffet breakfast. Air conditioner temperature may have been pre-set by hotel, as we could not make it cooler on a heat-wave day.

Location was brilliant as it was only 10 minutes away from the o2 arena by tube. As far as hotels go it was very quiet at night as we was at the back of the hotel no traffic noise or slamming doors but we did stay at the end of September when the kids had gone back to school. The bathroom was a little pokey with no bath but for £79 for the night it was excellent value for money and clean. The caffe and bar next door meant that we didn't have to go far to find food before the show or breakfast in the morning.

- We actually checked out of this hotel early... However, I would like to say how exceptionally clean this hotel was! I think if you were going to a gig at the O2 the hotel would be ideal. The rooms are quite basic and there is everything you need, however the bathroom and shower room some what reflect those you'd find in an aeroplane. - When cancelling the rest of our stay the staff were nothing but pleasant and helpful and the process was quick and easy we also only had to pay for one nights stay which was great as we thought we'd lose all of our money. - I think because last time we were in London we stayed in an apartment in Bayswater we maybe had expectations that were too high. - So if you are looking for a budget hotel and don't mind being further out of London then this is a great choice. - For us this just wasn't the ideal hotel especially when travelling into Oxford St, Leicester Square etc - because it was so far out travelling took too long and proved costly and meant if we wanted to pop back to change it wouldn't be a simple quick process. Also, we didn't really look forward to going back to the hotel and all the pro's didn't out weight the cons so after one night checked out and booked an apartment in Bayswater. - There was nothing really to do in the surrounding areas of the hotel.

Room not particularly spectacular but very impressed with courteousnees and professionalism exhibited by the front desk staff. Room entertainment facilities could also be improved. Internet facilities not provided for ipad users is a minus. I could visit again though.

Perfect for the o2. Small, but perfect for what we were after. Need a cheap clean bed for the night, done what it said on the tin. I understand you have different levels so we may well upgrade and stay again next time we stay in London. Certainly for the o2 will use again.

The staff were pleasant. The rooms were clean but 'compact' to say the least. Rates were extremely keen. You got what was on the tin do to speak! The food in the Restaurant was exceptionally poor and I was going to put over priced but any price would have been over priced. Avoid eating here at all costs. The rooms were very small (but clean) and the walls were very thin.
