Location is excellent - right outside the dlr station. Facilities are what you need - bed, toilet, shower, tea/coffee. Sink in the room was a nice touch. Not directly to do with the hotel, but the cab firm they use was awful. Took them over half an hour to send us a 7 seater cab, despite sending 2 different 4 seater cabs at different times. |

The hotel was very well situated to get into the centre of London, excellent rail link right next to the LDR. Hotel was basic but totally adequate for our needs as we only wanted somewhere to sleep and it was clean. Parking was very good. Hotel was easy to find just follow the Excel signs. |

The location right next to the DLR was excellent. The room was satisfactory for the price with hot drink making facilities in the room. There was no option to keep the same sheets and towels so not very eco friendly in that way. Mugs were supplied for drinks but a tiny amount of milk, not really enough for even 2 mugs. The breakfast round the corner in the local cafe was better than the hotel restauarant and much cheaper. |

Was convenientally located to a train station and the room was clean. For 100 pounds for two nights, great price. Pub and Chinese restaurant on site also helps when you need late night snack :-) |

Custom House is a very clean, easy accessible hotel. which provide comfortable rooms and lovely facilities. the dlr line is right across the road making easy access into london central. This hotel is also really good for any events that maybe happening at the 02 arena as it is only a 10min train journey or taxi ride . Unfortunately, whilst we there staying for two nights we have very bad noise disturbance on the friday night due to alot of drunken students staying for one night. we did report to satff who did handle the situation well. but we where very unpset that we were not offered a refund for the night sleep we had missed on the friday night or a complimentary breakfast. We use this hotel alot including my family and friends as well. but because of this incident we will probably be very hesitant to stay again as i feel the issue was not resolved properly. |

The fact that the Manager gave us a 50% reduction on our bill after we complained upon checking out. It was also really easy to get to the o2 from there. It appeared unreliable. Upon arrival the hotel claimed booking.com had cancelled our booking - it took 45 mins to retify this. We were given a twin with 2 single beds when a double had been booked and an upgrade promised (another trip to reception to get a tiny double). Rooms near the function room are really noisy until gone 12.30am. |

Excellent Staff. Good food and a variety of beers. Beware you are not given a room on the same floor as a coach load of foreign teenagers!! You will be woke many times during the night. |

I have stayed at Custom House about twenty times this past year. It provides value for money accommodation - a little basic but always clean and well prepared and the staff are always helpful. There is enough space in the room to work - good hotel for basic business travel. Free copies of the Daily Mail - would prefer a better standard newspaper or a paper of choice delivered to the room. Large screen TVs in cafe and pub area churning out noisy and unwatcheable programmes. |

The cleaning staff were fairly noisy, despite being on the far end of the hotel there was a lot of people traffic outside of the room which made it hard to relax/sleep. |
