Wifi should be free and all over the hotel.

very close to Excel centre and couldnt be closer to tube station . Polite and friendly staff and was able to leave luggage in locked room after checking out and collected it around 9pm that night which saved us having to trail it around all day as conference didnt end till after 9.

It had a car park. it was so close to the ExCel

Convenience next to DLR, reasonable price

I had to change rooms after check-in, as the room given to me was unsuitable. Even though while booking the room months earlier, I made my needs clear.

The location. Otherwise a pretty average depressing sort of place.

Reasonably priced and comfortable. Close to rail link.

The staff did their job, checking in and out and they were polite but that was it, no extra touches. The shower room was very 'cabin like' but clean enough

The hotel staff were quite rude and when I enquired as to why they were asking me to credit card authorise a charge higher than the rate I secured on booking.com, I got a very gruff response. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was claustrophobia inducing. A comment card from a previous visitor had been left in the room - slightly worrying from an information security perspective given that his address and contact details were listed on it! The surrounding location lacked amenities and the journey back into central London was quite long.

Apart from the obvious excellent location to the Excel (Just a foot bridge from the hotel's entrance to the Excels entrance) and fantastic value for money, it was the professionalism of the staff that I would definitely go back for. One staff member in particular called Gemma was so helpful that we bought her a thank you card and box of chocolates. I've never experienced a home away from home experience in Budget accommadation before but I would 100% be staying at this hotel again. The dlr ststion is again 20ft away across the road from the Hotel entrance and will bring you into the centre of the city in a few minutes. The hotel was nice and quiet so we had a peaceful sleep and the rooms were much bigger than what we had expected looking at the photos. They had tea and coffee facilities plus extra blankets but we didn't need them the room was lovely and warm. The food in the bar was super and the staff were again excellent.

I really would be clutching at straws to find fault with this hotel, but if I had to make some kind of negative comment it would be that the All Day Cafe in the hotel was closed during our stay although it will be opening again soon so we were told. And I'm not a Fan of the chinese restaurant attached onto the hotel, we made a takeaway order with them and most of it went to waste, very processed taste from it. But that would be it no other complaints at all.
