The Location was good - in the city centre and near to shops and restaurants and the price was reasonable
The Wi-Fi didn't work. There was only a bath towel and hand towel in the room but not one for your hair. The TV didn't work properly (kept freezing and getting stuck). The room was quite tired and very cramped (you had to side step to get around the bed) and the bed was on wheels so moved when you got on it.
The staff gave a lovely welcome, great professional service and very attentive to our needs. The hotel was lovely and clean, as was our room, the room was equipped with all the usual items required. Rooms were serviced, coffee and biscuits topped up daily. We parked in a nearby secure car park which left us free to explore the area on foot, within 5-10 minutes you can be in the main shopping areas of Sheffield. This hotel is in an ideal location for events at the 02 arena, just a 2 minute walk at night back to the hotel. Will definitely be revisiting this hotel again..
During our stay, was that the lift was out of use, but this didn't cause us any problems.
Large comfy clean bed Very helpful & friendly staff Good location
smelly toilet very small shower cubicle poor water pressure & noisy pipes only 1 tiny bedside table poor TV reception poor wifi connectivity no numbers for help on the phone
Unfriendly staff, wi-fi not working at all, very poor breakfast, mould around window frames, dirty floors & dirty valance on bed. Whole hotel in dire need of updating. Will never stay here again.
The staff were very good and polite. Location was very good for our needs whilst we were in Sheffield. The price was very reasonable for a city centre hotel.
You can't unload near the hotel as there is building work being carried out and traffic warden would not allow even to unload. The room was very small and bed was directly next to window, therefore, had to climb over to get out. Also the room smelt quite badly. They only provided one towel between two people, although when asked for another they did provide one more. The hotel is in need of some serious TLC.
breakfast was great, staff were friendly, location is right in the centre.
Unfortunately there was building work going on while we were there which woke me up at 6am but not the fault of the hotel.
Location and friendliness of staff were excellent
Staff, location, cleanliness
Small sized bed
The staff tried to be helpful
The hotel looks awful as you enter it. Like a dossers hostel. Rooms are tiny. Walls are thin so you hear everything next door. Very noisy street at 6am. TV didn't work. Drains were overflowing so room stank. Shower is a drizzle. By far and away the worst hotel I have ever, ever stayed in.
warm comfortable room comfortable bed location
no hot water despite running tap and shower for over five minutes on many occasions tv didnt work properly reception repeatedly dropped
Staff + breakfast
In centre of town .one minute from tram stop and three minutes to theatres.good prices and clean and comfortable.would recommend.
Only one lift. No information on show for bar open and close times
Friendly, helpful staff. Good central location down a side street hence little night time noise. Comfortable and very clean.
A bit overpriced.
The reminder that I'm going to stick to premier inns!
Doesn't advertise that a car park is a walk away Very small room on top floor...I booked a double room Bath taps didn't work Hot and stuffy in the room, windows were so high up you couldn't access them Noisy at night and in the morning Food from the onsite restaurant were shocking, menu very limited
Lovely staff, good location, good price.
Needs some investment to modernise. 4th floor feels seperate to rest of the hotel.
Lot's of noise through the night
The bar staff friendly
Not enough towels and request more from reception but not delivered
central location, extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Thin walls, could hear everything in room next door.
Location, comfort, friendly polite staff, value for money
Location was excellent, good value, clean room. Comfortable bed
A bit old and tired looking, in need of a refurb!
The location was superb as we went to a concert at the O2 Academy which was about 2 minutes walk away. Good bars and eateries at hand, with bus and tram transport for further afield. Breakfast was good, nice hot food and friendly staff in all areas of the hotel.
A mouse made an appearance in the restaurant which was a little worrying but as the location was at basement level and dont think it was a hygiene issue.
Easy access to sheffield city centre. Nice rooms for a 3 star hotel
Building work across the road and very loud first thing at 7am. The hotel is in administration ,but the staff was excellent and very helpful.
Friendly staff, receptionist was happy to book a taxi for us.
Room was too hot, for an executive suite the room was basic
