The owners and staff were all very friendly and made everyone extremely comfortable, even the dogs. The food was excellent with a choice of menus. We will definitely be returning.
The decor was a little dated but was more than compensated by the staff and food.
Superb food and approachability & wamth of owners.
Countryside, wildlife just outside bar window (badgers feeding) friendly people.
Bit hard to find.
Being able to take our dod. The woodlands around are ideal for walking dogs.
What was there not to like!
Good location and nice food
Place needs updating and not very clean
Good food, friendly staff and badgers!
Entrance looked shabby Dogs in bedrooms
Hosts always available nothing to much trouble. Excellent food, hot well presented tastes as good as it looks A truly friendly, totally relaxing stay
Food put out very night for foxes and badgers. Was great to see them
Walls very thin. Could hear neighbours in toilet and shower. Children playing in bar at night until 11 pm
Rooms were clean and comfortable. The dog was welcomed. Good choice and well cooked breakfast.
Good nights sleep in a comfy bed. Hot shower and ran towels. Breakfast choice excellent presented beautifully. Food lovely although coffee and tea had a strange taste which may have been the water.
Taste of coffee and tea bad. Dated and too bright decor. Needed some tlc as paving slabs moved outside and general maintenance needed to the property. Looked tired with too much wood chip and loud colours. Smell of dogs too.
Very friendly, watched the badgers being fed. Good breakfast, comfortable clean rooms.
Excellent breakfast - more choice and variety and better quality than I'd expected from a B&B this size and price
Walls very thin, could hear everything in next bedroom
The setting was great - drive through the woods. Short walk into Saundersfoot was ok. Breakfast was delicious and nice to see range of cooked options such as eggs benedict, eggs royale etc
Hotel was excessively 'dog orientated'. Other guests had dogs in their rooms which barked at us when we went past and in the bar on our first night there were 4 large dogs who were 'playful' according to the owners - bit scary to me. Didn't go to the bar on subsequent evenings.
Comfortable accommodation with a nice view. Good bathroom and excellent food. Also enjoyed the badger watching. Owners where honest about the pricing.
Couldn't get wifi in our room although it is available elsewhere. Decor is a little tired in places.
This small, family run hotel is located at the end of a wood, overlooking the sea. The visiting wildlife can be seen clearly from the bar
The hotel is looking rather tired this year, the garden particularly needs some attention.
Great hosts, lovely guests, food excellent, Will definitely return
The hotel is quit and peacefull great walks . if you like the rugged country its the place to go..
The hotel is for the fit and able, stairs to your room , stairs to to the bar and dineing area.. Needs a lot of updating ..
Location to Saundersfoot and Tenby
The location, near Tenby, very nice area Great breakfast in the morning The chance to see badgers around The 5 minutes walk to a beautiful beach
The reception was really dirty and the hotel in general could be refurbished
The food was good
Missed a bath but that is just my preference
The friendly staff, the food was as nice as I've ever eaten and the owners were great hosts, the fact that I could take are pet dog just made the holiday
Location, peacefull (well away from the road to Saundersfoot) and very good food. Friendliness of everyone. Homely feel.
Not too keen on dogs, but there were up to three in the bar and a little nosey. They were however well controlled and not seen elsewhere within the buildings.
It felt like you were out in the country. Staff were warm and welcoming. Very near lots of great beaches and lovely places to visit. Food was gorgeous.
The kids liked the animals they had goats which were very friendly. Also the kids loved the dalmations they were very friendly whilst we were down at the bar. Lovely friendly atmosphere also kids enjoyed seeing the bats, foxes and badgers during their visit. Will visit again their breakfast was very tasty and lots of choice x
Was unable to view telly as connection was poor but did not bother us. We listened to radio instead x
Leaving the place
Dog hair in very small breakfast grumpy staff though if I had a boss like theirs I wouldnt smile either, bar man more interested in x word than guests. Only time we had a smile was when we were paying and leaving. And as soon as we paid the man turned away walked off and didnt even ask if we enjoyed the stay.
