Excellent value for money for solo business traveller wanting somewhere comfortable to stay with no frills. Rooms are small but clean. Being so close to Kings Cross does mean that you can hear the periodic rumbling of underground trains when staying on the ground floor. This concerned me when I first checked into the room but nothing to fear. You soon don't notice it and I had an excellent night's sleep; perhaps the gentle rumbling was slightly soporific!

Good clean and tidy, well kept place. Very small rooms. Tiny bathrooms (though very clean) with traditional British sinks: two separate taps. Very conveniently located: trains, underground, tourist buses, etc.

As stated in rating above, the staff were the only positive feature of this hotel, or rather the Central Hotel, which I stayed in which is owned by the same company but is located across the street. Rooms were not clean and the room that I was first allocated had a bad odour. I was unable to sleep becasue of noisy water pipework.

Location was really handy to the St Pancras Eurostar terminal, which was the reason we chose this hotel. Was very basic and small but clean and adequate for our needs.

It is situated in an ideal location for families like us who are using king's cross, st pancras and eurostar The room although ensuite was very small and being in the basement meant a lot of noise from outside filters in - the breakfast was ok but not great, reasonable enough to get you going but not too tasty!

The location was excellent for meeting my daughter from St Pancras station after 3 weeks in Romania. We dropped off her backpack and went to the local Nando's for a late meal. The room at the Fairway was fine for a short break.Beds comfy, sheets and towels clean. Towels were changed.Staff were pleasant, as was the breakfast. Bathroom a little cramped. Bit noisy with doors slamming and the sound of the underground (we were in the basement).

Attractive rate, clean, good location. Staff was responsive to an e-mail question. There is no way to shower without spilling on the bathroom floor.

Fitted the bill for a one night stay. Close to station for dropping off bags also close enough to Sadlers Wells to walk. And good bus route if didn't feel like walking. Reasonable breakfast adequate for our needs. Easy to get into centre of city either on foot or tube. Clean and comfortable room. Room quite small which could be an issue if staying several nights. Also a bit noisy - traffic even though double-glazed.

2 minutes walk from Kings Cross station which is a major transport hub, so if you're visiting London for sight seeing you'd find it tough to pick a more convenient location.

Location is good. Staff friendly. Quickly served full cooked breakfast. Room size is a joke. The on-suite was a converted wardrobe. No space to move around the bed. The room was truly disappointing.

“The staff at Crestfield were absolutely friendly and helpful. The room was small as are all London hotels that are affordable, but I didn't mind it at all. The best part of staying at the Crestfield Hotel is the location. It is a block away from the King's Cross tube stop, which is in the heart of the city. Also, the Pancras International train station is there as well, making easy to grab a train to France/Belgium and the rest of Europe. Can't beat it!” Tony, Studio City |
