Excellent value for money for solo business traveller wanting somewhere comfortable to stay with no frills. Rooms are small but clean. Being so close to Kings Cross does mean that you can hear the periodic rumbling of underground trains when staying on the ground floor. This concerned me when I first checked into the room but nothing to fear. You soon don't notice it and I had an excellent night's sleep; perhaps the gentle rumbling was slightly soporific!

I think that this hotel is very appropriate for those who value quality for small price. Despite the fact that you live in a tiny space in your room and use common toilet and tower, the overall atmosphere is really very pleasantly and friendly. Great staff, good breakfast, extremely great location! Room is small but all details are considered. Highly advised! But be prepare that this is anyway b&b hotel, don't demand luxury. Common toilet and shower.

Nice staff. Convenient location especailly for tourists like us who travelled to London by train. Easy access to underground as well. Peak season. The room rate is really expense. Guess that's because the Games is coming.

Located 200 yards from King's Cross train and subway station which is right beside St. Pancreas train station. Restaurants are within easy walking distance. While very basic, breakfast was included (dry cereal, fried egg, baked beans, sausage, ham, orange juice, toasted white bread). Very tiny room, very basic amenities. Bathroom was a sink, toilet, and shower all bunched close together with shower curtain in our way while using the sink and no bathroom counter. Sounds of pigeons right outside the window coupled with periodic rushing water, a compressor, guests above us, and subway trains - not a peaceful sleep. No elevator so had to lug bags down narrow stairwell. Healthier breakfast choices would have been appreciated. All in all, perhaps in line with what to expect at this price in London, but one could never call it a pleasant stay.

Stayed as a group of four, price was great. Location fantastic. Great full English breakfast, staff friendly and helpful! ( Forgot to pack a hairdryer, reception gave us one to use) Spotlessly clean. Room was quite small but we had a great laugh trying to all manouvere around getting ready at the same time!!

Nothing fancy, in fact a long way from fancy. But it was cheap and in a decent location. Really needed some major modernisation but it was clean and that is the main thing in my book.

Staff were really helpful and kind. They were busy but still had time to help us and were very freindly. They understood what our needs were ie getting bags into room and secured and helped us out. They made ideal suggestion on what we could do n London for a day. Really close to station which was FANTASTIC with our heavy bags etc. Made breakfast for us early so we could leave and catch our train. I will always remember how good to us the staff were!

Excllent location very near Kings Cross station. Clean, warm and comfortable. Room small but adequate for short stay and recently decorated. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked. Price OK for this part of London. Bathroom very small and could do with refurbishment. It was clean however and everything worked and the water was hot.

Good value for money. Small room, breakfast only OK, but for this relatively small sum in London it was as good as one could expect.

Perfect location, central and within a very short walk of the Tube. The staff were very friendly, and very helpful when I needed it. Graet value for money, I would stay again. Parking is an issue. Outside the hotel you can only park for two hrs, or you can use a pricey local ncp car park, which I would not recommend, as I had a brick put through my back window while my car was there for two days.

We needed an overnight stay close to the Eurostar station, St Pancras. The Fairway/Central is only a 2 minute walk from the station and was well equipped for such travellers as us. The room was cramped with a double and single bed in it. It was a squeeze to get past the bed into the bathroom. This is a minor point when only spending one night, but may be important for those staying for a week.

Excellent location, decent English breakfast, kettle in the room & set of tea/coffee bags, free WiFi - excellent value for money There was water on the floor near wc pot, also dust under the bed after 4 night stay - poor cleaning? But they were minor things, have not ruined the general impression - you get what you pay for.

I appreciated the location, so good cause near King's Cross station, from where you can visit all London! I didn't really like the small size of the bathroom but it was enough for 2 nights

“Bed was clean and comfortable, liked being able to open window. Tea and coffee supplied, -appreciated. Breakfast good, except only one toaster and a queue of 4/5 people all the time to make their toast. Not good if you are catching a train etc.. Liked the fact there was a night receptionist, felt safer, and the receptionists were both very helpful..The location was great only a short walk to station, and the pub on the corner did a good meal at reasonable price.” Eva, Pembroke Dock |
