great bar and restaurant. modern rooms. good value.

The staff was the most accommodating you could wish for. Bar a fun place to relax. The dining was top notch. But mostly it was the people...they were committed to be sure you were taken care of and prided themselves on that service. We had a issue with our Avis rental car and the staff contacted them in our behalf and worked to resolve the problem. Loved our adventure. Thank you pretty The 3 American ladies

The staff were polite and professional. They ensured the guests had a comfortable stay. Initially, I thought the rates were higher than the average, but the experience was worth the spend.

Argument's with staff over wifi codes and staff telling u that unless u order food straight away u won't get any????

Large spacious rooms and willingness to accommodate us - and the dog!! Staff seemed to really enjoy being there!

Breakfast on the Sunday was chaotic - not enough cups, plates or spoons; no one to wash up apparently though why waitress couldn't just wash one spoon was questionable!! Ran out of bread and juice, no toaster working! But food was really good quality when it arrived. And the one waitress coped admirably with the stress.

Great place to stay before getting a morning ferry. Family room was huge and immaculate. Lovely dog in reception the next morning :)

Very large and comfy room -- nice bath especially. Stayed with our 2 kids (8 and 11) and the room fit us all fine. Nicely decorated. Location just a short drive to the ferry at Holyhead. Breakfast was very good. Service was very welcoming. Liked having access to outside from the room. Nice location in countryside, would be great for walkers though we weren't there long enough.

The little one just had a cot, not the most comfortable but for her was okay. Restaurant was pricey but good for dinner. Was a little expensive and far from town (so dining options were limited without a drive).

Staff was very nice, clean and newly updated rooms and a great patio from our room.

It was a bit of a drive from the train station. It cost about £15 via taxi drive. Well worth it!

Hotel Cymyran is a fine hotel run by great, friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are modern (with wi-fi and Ethernet included) spacious and scrupulously clean. We had an evening Meal which was beautifully cooked, and in the morning the "full" breakfast lived up to its name!

Staff, room and food were excellent

Despite advertising wifi it was only available in the bar not in the rooms.

Its a terrific small hotel, based about 2/3 miles outside of Holyhead. I found it by chance on the Net. Other hotels in Holyhead are dreadful, so finding the Cymyran was a boon. Its a lovely, well appointed, clean, friendly place to stay.

My only gripes were that given the extensive nature of the menu, the choices for vegetarians were not good; the restaurant lacked any ambiance: soft music would have been better than hearing the tv in the background in the bar; also, for breakfast, most vegetarians do not want to be offered things that look and taste like meat!!! The scrambled egg was given was very dry and clearly did not have any butter or milk added to the mixture before cooking. However, all that being said, the food was excellent quality.
