Score from 6 reviews Exceptional
Nice and helpful staff. Nice room and facilities. Good and convenient bar facilities. Excellent parking facilities.
Nothing, as The hotel was ideal for our travel arrangements.
Beautiful hotel & room. Fantastic attentive staff. Even in blackout conditions, the staff presented a fantastic cold breakfast
Would have loved for the storm that rolled in at 5am to not have caused a black out so I could have the hot breakfast and report on all facets.
The room was big and very clean. The bar area was very nice and relaxing. The staff were very friendly.
The pillows were a bit too hard and could be more fluffy
The staff at the hotel didn't grey you like a new customer but made you feel like a friend.
When we had our evening meals at the hotel on both nights we orders the same state as the first night it was delicious. However on the second night the starter was of much poorer quality. We had ordered the pate starter and on our plates we had two generous portions of pate to go with two triangles of toast, it didn't add up with what we had. I think that this was due to the fact that the bbc where there on our second night and they seemed to get priority over the rest of the diners.
The Staff were all exceptionally, Helpful, Friendly, polite, and gave the hotel a friendly homely feel, they took time & effort to get to know you, treating you as a guest, not as a customer, the quality of the food was outstanding & very satisfying
Nothing to list, in the what didn't I like, everything was wonderful, & I would definitely, stay there again, highly recommended to one & all.
Great overnighter en route to Ireland
Nothing- top marks, esp service!
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The staff, room was lovely especially with the balcony and the views. The bar and restaurant were a nice place to relax in.
The food could have been better. The meatballs in the evening were dry and not up to expectation. The breakfast was served cold. Even though a very good variety of cold continental food.
The Hotel suffered a power-cut on the morning of departure and was unable to provide hot beverages or hot food for Breakfast. However, I was still charged full price(included in the room rate admittedly) for breakfast which consisted of half a glass of Orange Juice.
Nice clean hotel with good facilities
Restaurant in evening lacked warmth and atmosphere
Just been out in the country.felt like home.plenty of space to move around.
That there were no grab rails on stairs.
Peaceful....although airfield is calm on the weekend. Kind and helpful staff. Good food. Prompt room service. Clean room. Good easy limitless wifi# Easy ample parking.
not enough attention to cleanliness in the dining area one set of bed linen had quite a strong damp smell.
Clean, quiet, friendly, views of the sea, food was hot and tasty, good range of drinks from the bar.
Not much for youngsters,
Location for walking and access to the island
Food was ok poor sausage which was listed as Welsh-no way!
Large, comfortable room with all facilities. Large balcony with lovely views over countryside. Easy walk to beautiful local beach. Easy access to the Wales coastal path if you are keen walkers which we are. Position could be isolated if you looking for lively nightlife but ideal if you want peaceful location. Food in the restaurant was freshly prepared and good quality, excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend and we will stay here next time we are in Anglesey but for a longer period of time.
Nothing we disliked except we had only booked for one night and wished we had booked for longer!
Large, clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices.
No single room rates even when hotel not full. Rooms under the dining room are noisy. No gym or swimming pool.
The quality of food was 1st class and excellent value for money.
It cost a lot for what it was and getting to sleep before midnight is impossible as aeroplanes scream overhead constantly.
Close to the ferry, great location
Lovely hotel, comfortable and good food. Excellent location for visiting son and family at RAF Valley.
Tables in restaurant appeared to be sticky, also I think more staff was required for Sunday morning breeakfast, as the hotel was very busy.
I was in Angelsea to compete in a triathlon. The staff allowed me access to the kitchens before they normally opened so that i could get an easy breakfast. Thanks very much.
friendly staff lovely rooms good food
General ambience Helpful staff Disabled room had good features Staff very helpful in attaining meals of the right size_smaller_ Large menu served carefully and hot with good timing
Several small things in room needed attention Breakfast plates were not cleared before toast was eaten It should be stated more adequately that from time to time there will be bursts of significant aircraft noise but not during the night.
The convenience of being close to RAFValley suited our needs but it is a little remote from other civilisation.
On arrival the hotel were unaware of our reservation which resulted in our having to accept a room of an inferior standard to that which we had booked. No one seemed to be prepared to accepRather econmicalt responsibility for this fiasco. No compensation was offered to mitigate the resultant distress. The dining room staff worked extremely hard but despite their stalwart efforts they could not cope with the demands of guests. This could have been remedied by the employment of more staff. The standard of food did not match the prices charged.I would recommend not ordering pork schnitzel which was a dry piece of roast pork in batter.Rather economical with tea and coffee supplies in room had to ask for extra. No wardrobe in bedroom only a hanging rail.
This was our third visit and had a better room than last year - service in restaurant and quality of food better
This an excellent hotel, clean and good facilities. Breakfast was also very good
Check out time. Staff at the reception was bit inflexible. We arrived at 1 am from Dublin (via ferry) and the staff during the early morning hours was very helpful and welcoming. I was travelling with my son and in the morning when I requested to check out late (12pm) initially the staff agreed for a charge but later changed her mind. She said I did not inform her in advance. Check out time in most hotel is about 12pm. Nevertheless, she allowed us to check out by 11 am
