Dalesbridge House was originally built as the nurses quarters on the site of the former Harden Bridge Hospital. It has been transformed into a warm 6-bedroomed B&B with comfortable spacious rooms and a relaxing lounge area with an inviting log fire.

Room information

Each room is situated on the first floor and has large windows for fantastic views over the surrounding hills and fields. Each room has an en suite bathroom fitted with a shower and toilet. Please see individual room details for a complete list of facilities on offer.

Area information

This area is famous for its walks, from the challenging ‘3 Peaks Walk’ to leisurely riverside walks. There is a particularly pleasant 4-mile circular walk from Dalesbridge to Clapham and back.

The nearest train station is Clapham (2.5 miles’ walk). Alternatively, Settle is a mainline station on the Leeds - Settle - Carlisle route. Settle is a 10 minute drive away.

Travel information

By Car
Dalesbridge is situated on the main A65 cross-Pennine route between Ingleton (6 miles) and Settle (5miles). We are close to the village of Austwick but our entrance is from the main A65 road.

From Bradford or Skipton:
- Follow signs for Settle and Kendal (A65).
- When you arrive at the Settle roundabout, continue down the Settle by-pass and go straight on. You will then pass the turning into Austwick on your right.
- Carry straight on, and the Dalesbridge Centre entrance is just over half a mile past this junction on the left. There is a large entrance sign.

From the M6:
- Leave the motorway at junction 34 and follow the road for Kirby Lonsdale.
- Continue for about 4 miles, and turn right after a sharp left hand bend (by some trees) for Bentham.
- Follow the road through Bentham, heading for Settle.
- When you come to the A65, turn right and the Dalesbridge Centre is situated one and a half miles on the right-hand side. (Do not take any of the side roads into Clapham or Austwick villages).

By Train:
The nearest station within walking distance is Clapham (2.5 miles). But for those being collected by car, Settle and Giggleswick are more convenient.
