Super traditional English pub with a great Vibe, food and Ales. Staff were exceptional. Rooms good with nice en-suites . Good size flat TV and small fridge that was really useful. Came stocked with milk for coffee, bottled water , chocolate and fruit. Massively enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend

Lovely part of the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of stunning walks. We were blessed with gorgeous weather as well. We stayed at The Game Cock Inn which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was really nice and the breakfast was superb. The yummy bakery attached to the pub was an added bonus with Delicious homemade tarts and a selection of different breads We also wandered down the road to The Traddock ( A Yorkshire Dales Hotel and Restaurant) which was beautiful, with stunning gardens and friendly staff too.

The village had well stocked shop for food supplies etc and the food in the local pub was excellent and within easy walking distance. The Coach House was very well appointed with a very good kitchen and two bedrooms, both ensuite, very important when holidaying with friends. Plenty of parking on site for two or more cars.

On arrival the staff were very helpful and polite, the evening meal was amazing lovely and the breakfast was also really nice with a great choice.The rooms were very clean and the finishing touches were nice.

The inn can be reached by foot, bus or car. We walked there and enjoyed a delicious dinner before retiring to a really, lovely bedroom looking out over the Yorkshire Dales. Very clean. Very quiet. Very restful.
