Large room very clean and good location Quite busy main road so traffic noise disturbed my sleep. person next door had their tv going all night. No 24hr reception so felt I had to put up with it- they switched it off at 5 am! Breakfast was included in the price but was quite greasy with rather cheap looking sausages, fatty bacon and the toast was that really cheap supermarket brand stuff which when toasted is rock hard. I would have preferred to pay a little more for the room to get a good quality breakfast. Rooms were very clean but quite old fashioned with no shower over bath to wash my hair

The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good. The hotel was situated bewtween a busy main road and a housing estate. It was tired and dated and the rooms were in need of renovation. There were ony bar snacks available from the restaurant at the time of our stay. The standard of this hotel did not justify the price.

Reasonably priced for one night and located close to a relative I was visiting. Attic room with sloping roof meant very poor headroom even for small person. Room poorly lit. Very difficult to regulate shower temperature and water flow very poor.

Good quality, clean and comfortable. If you have a strong aversion to cigarette smoke or bad allergies, I would make sure your room is non-smoking. It seems like people smoke all over the building, so avoiding the smell of cigs is very hard to do. Otherwise, this hotel is just fine for a couple of nights.

The hotel was simple, functional and hassle-free. The shower was decent and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast, included in the price, was very tasty. The initial welcome was a little frosty, although other staff were very friendly. The place seemed eerily deserted, which at least made it peaceful. The restaurant did not appear to be open, and reception was rarely manned.

The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful. A reasonably priced hotel and there is a good pub nearby with reasonably priced food. You may have a problem if tall and given the second floor rooms as they are in the eaves and we felt in constant danger of banging head when walking round the room and not easy for men using the toilet.

A very polite, helpful and thoroughly delightful young lady waiting on the tables. Also the fact that I was able to bring my dog along with me. It was a little old fashioned and would benefit from some refurbishment.

Staff were friendly and efficient and the room was spotless. Checking in/out was seamless and we were made to feel welcome. I would definitely return to this hotel if I was ever in the area again Only a small gripe as we enjoyed our stay here but the additional bed that was provided for us was uncomfortable - the mattress was so thin you could feel every spring.
