With a French bistro and real ale bar, The Crescent Inn offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi. The inn is situated in scenic Ilkley, just a 10-minute drive from the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

With views across Wharfedale, this 19th-century lodge is next to The Cow and Calf pub, offering hearty seasonal food, continental breakfasts and cask ales.
Score from 179 reviews Very good
On the outskirts of Skipton, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, this charming, family-run hotel features a wonderful canal-side restaurant, great recreational facilities and idyllic views of the Leeds...
Score from 230 reviews Good
The bathroom was small and needs some up dating. The bed linen needs to be cotton not a mixed fibre. There was no hair dryer in the room. This is really a bed and breakfast not a hotel. No parking on sight, but luckily I could park on street for free
Good relaxed and friendly atmosphere
Needs some modernising
Friendly staff good location big room
very basic room
The central location
With just a little bit more effort it could have been so much better. For example, use good quality ingredients in the breakfast. The impression was that the landlord did not care about his guests.
Interesting large room, good shower, good breakfast (but see dislike) central location. NB did not use wi-fi
Separate charge for breakfast, overall cost, noise associated with central location
being in the centre of the city.
We needed a central Ilkley location and this place provided that. The staff, when available, were friendly and helpful despite the facilities they were provided with. The room was spacious and breakfast, once ordered, was served quickly.
inadequate curtains very loud road, single glazing Overall, very poor value for money. The saggy mattress made sleep uncomfortable. That sleep was shortened at both ends by the noise of traffic, against which single glazed windows were no protection, and by the summer morning light flooding the room because of the laughably thin curtains. My wife wanted a shower, but couldn't work out how to turn it on, and there were no instructions either on the shower or in any folder, so I had to go down the three flights of steep stairs to find someone to ask. The decor was generally shabby and old, and the final insult was at breakfast when I saw the big coffee machine behind the counter, but was given instant coffee. For the same money you can stay in luxury accommodation somewhere else.
All good, everyone very helpful. Top floor room was small but quiet and perfect for our needs.
Can't think of anything
The location, the eagerness of the staff to help in any way and the quiet room.
The stairs with suitcases to lug.
We loved: The huge clean towels Free wifi Friendly hosts Decor in room Cleanliness of our room
We didn't like: Uncomfortable mattresses & pillows No mirror in room Ill fitting windows, let in street noise
Staff very friendly, and a great location
I stayed in an attic room. The carpet was stained, the bathroom was so mouldy and dirty I chose not to use the shower. We requested early entry to the rooms (we were attending a wedding) and when we arrived we were told this was not available. Very unpleasant, would not recommend.
The hotel stored our bikes in the cellar for us, friendly staff, nice breakfast & excellent location for Ilkley centre
Bed wasn't that comfortable & quiet noisy after midnight in the bar, the noise travelled up through to room
Location Friendly staff
Comfortable and clean
For £75 and selling as a hotel I would expect breakfast to be included. unfortunately this was an extra if required and rather costly. Should be marketed as an expensive B&B
The breakfast and the staff who were very friendly and helpful.
The mould around the shower plus it urgently all needs an update to modern standards. Bits and pieces of equipment lying about in the corridor on the top floor. Carpets on the stairs and hallway need deep cleaned and a makeover to the décor. With a bit of money and time spent on the place the Dalesway could be something special. I have worked as a service provider in the hotel trade for over 30years until 2005 and I have seen it all before and know what can be achieved if the owners put there mind to it.
Windows should have been opened - it was extremely hot.
Location good. Staff polite and accomodating
The very large rat in the garden and the dog poo in the garden
The location slap bang in the middle of Ilkley is ideal. The staff were friendly and the bar is great. The room was plenty spacious too. Beds comfortable and nicely presented upon arrival with small and large towels and complimentary toiletries. Good view out from the windows. Offers parking next to it.
The stains on the room walls could have been cleaned off - like the one made by some sort of spilt drink by a past occupier. The bathroom had bits of mould here and there and the lock on the door didn't work - the door would just pull open even when it was on the latch. The pump in the bathroom stopped working in the morning on the second day which meant that no waste water from the shower, sink or toilet could be taken away. So our toilet basically backed up with faeces and would drain very slowely but would not take everything away. Whilst the pump was working it sounded like a pneumatic drill. I advised my friends not to flush the toilet at night! Bit noisy through the windows from outside as it is single glazed and right on a road.
The location is good. The staff are friendly.
Hard beds, old bedclothes, dirty carpets, no towel hooks in the bathroom. When this was pointed out, they responded by bringing fresh towels...
good location ,right in center of tow.large rooms
open till 2 am on weekends, though this is stated.room we stayed in was on the corner near a busy junction, windows are single glazed so we were kept awake with traffic noise
Welcome by staff after a week in a mobile home! Lovely room and bed at the top of the house Room 2,shower room, dressing room and settee, tea and coffee.Enjoyed the breakfast.
It was one of those hot summer nights, a fan in the room would have been wonderful.
Great location, food marvellous.Staff were really pleasant and helpful and they worked so hard to make sure everyone was happy.
Décor was a bit tired out.
