Lovely setting, beautiful old Manor house. Accommadation clean and tastefully decorated. I appreciated the additional touches of fruit, sweets and bottled water. Breakfast was excellent, a good choice and freshly cooked. Ian and Fiona were friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble.

The spiral staircase would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems

Friendly welcome and atmosphere, beautifully cooked evening meal that would grace any 5* restaurant, and of course the beautiful tasting coffee!! Great breakfast to send us on our way. Will definitely be back.

From the first warm welcome to the personal goodbye, we were made to feel like a guest in a friend's house rather than a paying customer. The rooms and building were exceptional, the building beautiful and the comfort and cleanliness were first class . Add a lovely breakfast (eggs laid the day before) and we had the ideal experience. What a find and we will be back on our next visit to Scotland.

Nothing. Our only regret was that due to prior commitments we were unable to have dinner which we feel sure would have been exceptional.

This is an exceptional B&B, we've stayed in loads. It's a fantastic house in it's ownfabulous grounds. The rooms were spacious, airy and comfortable. Lots of small touches, such as fresh fruit in the room, full choice on breakfasts served at a time to suit you, that all together add up to a memorable stay. The hosts Ian and Fiona were fantastic, very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. The meals, breakfast and evening meals were consistently to a very high standard, and were excellent value for money.

We loved everything about Dallars!!!Iain and Fiona were kind and generous hosts, we had everything we needed plus more. The grounds, home and room were beautiful with period touches but with modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, I had a poached egg that was just laid just a few hours before!! We were traveling through Scotland and wished we booked more than one night at this lovely accommodation.

It was difficult to locate due to issues with our GPS.

I felt like the Lord of the Manor. The owners are very friendly and quickly turned into good friends. This was one of our favorite B&Bs from the 15 we stayed in. A real treat.

    Having to leave so soon!

This passed our expectations in terms of quality -v- price. The room was great, bed large and comfortable with many little extras thrown in. Breakfast was also great with a good choice, quality fresh products and nice surroundings. The owners are also friendly, helpful and completely accommodating. Any establishment is only as good as the question - "would you go back?" - and the answer is yes, without hesitation. Jason

Delicious breakfast, spacious rooms, friendly owners. Best B&B we ever stayed in. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful house.

Need to discuss upfront if you want to stay in the B&B during the day. Services not in walking distance.

Home made cake and tea on arrival even though it was after 9pm. Little extras in the bedroom such as sweets and fruit. Very clean and tidy. Wifi access. Friendliness of hosts. Easy to find. Impressive building and surroundings. Handy for Troon ferry to NI.

TV was a bit small. Didn't check what sweet porridge was so got a bit of a surprise when it turned up, not really my cup of tea but it could be fine for others!
