We had a lovely 2 day stay and we were warmly welcomed and had a most relaxing time. Fiona and Iain were the perfect hosts and the room was beautiful with a great shower!
Welcome and Charm. Space & Grandeur The Lamb Casserole Superb bathroom
comfortable bed, spacious room, use of comfortable sitting room, availability of evening meal, friendly and helpful hosts
Fine country house. Breakfast in the beautiful drawing-room, with lovely views, was so peaceful that I was tempted to sit there all morning. The owners literally went the extra mile for me (I left a file there by mistake and they arranged to drop it off for me). Wonderful service
Everything. nice people, working hard to create a high std b&b
Run by very friendly and welcoming couple. Beautiful house in quiet location. Delicious breakfast with porridge made to Iain's secret recipe. Would strongly recommend.
We enjoyed our breakfast and the b&b was beautiful with nice gardens.
Iain was a fantastic host. Beautiful property, fascinating history, spotlessly clean, delicious breakfast with great range of choice. Will definitely stay again and wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Thank you!
Dallars is a spectacular manor house! The room was spacious and well appointed. The proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and they even prepared us a meal to go upon our departure. We don't recall ever staying in a nicer room.
That we had to leave! We were ready to move in permanently!!!
Enjoyed the interaction with the hosts who shared their knowledge of this beautiful home. Extremely comfortable and welcoming and within easy driving distance of the surrounding villages and tourist attractions.
Lovely setting, beautiful old Manor house. Accommadation clean and tastefully decorated. I appreciated the additional touches of fruit, sweets and bottled water. Breakfast was excellent, a good choice and freshly cooked. Ian and Fiona were friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble.
The spiral staircase would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems
Very friendly , hospitable and helpful
Friendly welcome and atmosphere, beautifully cooked evening meal that would grace any 5* restaurant, and of course the beautiful tasting coffee!! Great breakfast to send us on our way. Will definitely be back.
From the first warm welcome to the personal goodbye, we were made to feel like a guest in a friend's house rather than a paying customer. The rooms and building were exceptional, the building beautiful and the comfort and cleanliness were first class . Add a lovely breakfast (eggs laid the day before) and we had the ideal experience. What a find and we will be back on our next visit to Scotland.
Nothing. Our only regret was that due to prior commitments we were unable to have dinner which we feel sure would have been exceptional.
A fantastic B&B, run by a lovely friendly couple. Great big, clean rooms and delicious breakfast included. Couldn't recommend more, definitely will return
The room ,the hosts the peace and quiet.
The hosts who are both welcoming and very interesting to talk to. Spacious room with tea facilities and delicious biscuits. Unusual porridge with dates and honey.
This is an exceptional B&B, we've stayed in loads. It's a fantastic house in it's ownfabulous grounds. The rooms were spacious, airy and comfortable. Lots of small touches, such as fresh fruit in the room, full choice on breakfasts served at a time to suit you, that all together add up to a memorable stay. The hosts Ian and Fiona were fantastic, very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. The meals, breakfast and evening meals were consistently to a very high standard, and were excellent value for money.
We loved everything about Dallars!!!Iain and Fiona were kind and generous hosts, we had everything we needed plus more. The grounds, home and room were beautiful with period touches but with modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, I had a poached egg that was just laid just a few hours before!! We were traveling through Scotland and wished we booked more than one night at this lovely accommodation.
It was difficult to locate due to issues with our GPS.
I felt like the Lord of the Manor. The owners are very friendly and quickly turned into good friends. This was one of our favorite B&Bs from the 15 we stayed in. A real treat.
Having to leave so soon!
Excellent location, very welcoming hosts, superb setting and wonderful freshly cooked breakfast
This passed our expectations in terms of quality -v- price. The room was great, bed large and comfortable with many little extras thrown in. Breakfast was also great with a good choice, quality fresh products and nice surroundings. The owners are also friendly, helpful and completely accommodating. Any establishment is only as good as the question - "would you go back?" - and the answer is yes, without hesitation. Jason
Peaceful surroundings. Lovely breakfast
We felt staff was welcoming and friendly but perhaps too intrusive.. Getting balance is difficult
welcomed at door on arrival. very attentive hosts lovely meals provided on 2 nights excellent knowledge of area stunning surroundings proximity to some of the best golfing you could ever wish for
