Friendliness of staff spacious room comfortable bed
I felt the carvery price was over priced...offering same starters each evening...same desserts...
the staff were very welcoming and all had smiles on there faces. The room we stayed in, even though it wasn't the one we booked was very clean and tidy. All round we both were happy with everything.
we have nothing bad to say about our stay.
The whole stay was great from the room to the staff will defy be staying again
Spacious room. Very clean. Great evening entertainment for the children.
Breakfast is a little overpriced but was good enough. Would have liked fresh coffee instead of machine coffee
Great location and fab room. Staff really friendly.
Nice big rooms..
Room was a little dated, needs to update Tv's..
All the family activities were superb and our children had a ball
Our suite was dated and there was a leak through the ceiling in the kitchen on the second night but the staff were very helpful. Pool was a bit too cold.
Great facilities for those bad weather days.
With attracting young families there comes a lot of noise from other rooms and running in the corridors! Not enough parking at peak times but able to park on the road. A little overpriced with no breakfast included.
Hotel is very dated as are some rooms - needs investment Also prices are too high
All set for young family would go again
convenient Friendly comfortable
Had to request change room on arrival due to allocated room smelling The receptionist was very helpful and allocated an alternative room immediateley
Locaction was ok
Rooms poor quality Over priced accommodation Needs revamp ASAP Would not return
Room was a disgrace, bathroom was no larger than the space to fit a bath, small sink and a toilet pan. You couldn't turn without knocking the toilet roll onto the floor and then couldn't lift it as there was no room to move. Staff were not helpful and when I complained at the end of the stay all the receptionist said was 'I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay!' Only lounge bar was closed on the Sunday for a private function! Buffet on the Friday night was awful and we had to queue like a school canteen.
Do you know that you have 16 red signs on the walls of the swimming area? On top of that you have quite a few round blue signs that also have rules as content. It would be enough with 5 signs close to the clock. The other ones take away the beauty of the place.
Plenty for young children to do
Everything was very good except, as in all Hotels, people seem to be unable to close doors quietly!
Lovely amenities and good size family room.
Our room needed some TLC and the option we booked didn't include breakfast but where not willing to pay the extra to the hotel when 3 of us could eat at cafe nearby for the same cost.
The children loved the entertainment on Saturday night ! They used the swiming pool Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon ! The grandparents enjoyed breakfast being sorted for every one and the kids being entertained Saturday night !
We could not fault the hotel or the staff !
Nice bar area, Sky Sports on TV. Pool area clean and tidy. Staff did respond when I expressed my disappointment in our first room. Breakfast food is plentiful and good quality.
When we arrived given a basement room despite being told the day before when I rang that we would have a refurbished room. They are old and very tired, not worth the money we paid(£310 for 2 nights). We were moved on the 2nd night to 2 doubles which were okay.
Mike on reception was helpful
Specifically booked as had a gym but that was closed for refurb - no mention of that on their website. Wallpaper pealing on ceiling. Room smelled of vomit / sweaty feet. Fixtures in bathroom rusty. overall the room was kinda tired and in need of a refurb. Poor value for money.
location. staff were pleasant
rooms, small, views terrible, bathroom tiny. Common areas needing a real make over. At £130 a night (no breakfast) i expected much much better. Clients persist in smoking at front door and butts are not cleared up. Hotel also held private functions which excluded regular guests from areas. Also mess from party not cleared up well into evening. Very unprofessional. Lilac walls in reception what can I say more to sum up this hotel. I will not be back
Great entertainment and leisure facilities.
The rooms did not lock from the inside. My little boy opened the door as he heard the cleaners arriving to start their shift on the sunday morning, my husband woke up as he heard him talking to one of them.
Location, staff, breakfast, kids club
Our room, whilst clean, was dated. The decor was in need of improvement and the bedding towels were part their best but, as advised previously were clean.
The swimming pool, the food was great and the club at night for the children was great, so we could relax.
We didn't like waiting for our food.
Location Sun balcony Food Cleanliness
Late night noise outside the bedroom The fact that I thought I was on the Dalmaney website when I booked and had to pay extra. Waiting to be seated in the restaurant
From Judy's welcome and professionalism at reception to the well proportioned room and of course the pool - everything to enjoy and excellent food/wine options. Much appreciated
I didn't have time to stay longer! The breakfast room is somewhat dull and would benefit from a little attention.
