Very helpfull staff

Stale stuffy room, reeking of perfume. Waste bin not emptied

The bed and room were huge. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.

The walls were a little on the thin side so we could hear the chap next door who had a booming voice.

the beds where very very uncomfortable the rooms where hot with no fan or air conditioning so had to sleep with the window open and all i could here was traffic worse nights sleep ever, i would not stay again

The "motel" idea, rather than a hotel but with the attached full American diner. Loved the massive bed!

The decor! But understand it is being refurbished currently and now want to re-visit and see the results!

The hotel,staff drinks and food are all of a high quality and I can't wait to try the personal hot-tubs

Just the fact a few bits were missing but this is to improve so can't wait to see the finished results

The food was really nice,the room was comfy and clean.

The tables in restaurant was too small..if you was a big person you would struggle to fit.

LOCATION. Large spacious room. Comfy bed.

The room smelled VERY STRONG of smoke.

Location and food are second to none... Cocktail bar is fantastic

The dated decor, 1st room stank of stale cigarettes and had to be moved. Spacious but uncomfortable and hearers were making some really strange noises

Wonderful staff.

While it did not affect us we should have been made aware that there was a huge reconstruction in progress. It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit in the evening.

I liked the design of the motel it had a very vintage American motel feel to it which I loved and it was very clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at damons the bed was luxurious the service was excellent the staff were more than helpful the restaurant was fab. Great stay thank you.

The motel was dated, it needed a bit of a make over.

Love the location, with it being near the restuarant.

I felt the motel was very dated, and the presentation of our room was particularly disappointing. I was surprised at the rate charged for the room-felt it was over-priced. Would be interested to give it one more try when renovation completed.

The room was nice and a good comfy bed

There was dirty linen left in room and no coffe which we dident realise till we went for our morning coffe!! We were on the ground floor which we requested, but had to put up withthe noise aove us, doors slamming etc

*when reception rang our room at 8:30 in the morning requesting entry into room to look at "shower curtain". We asked if they could make it 9am as we needed to get ready, we was still sat waiting at 9:45 for somebody to come. Sick of waiting we checked out and went for our breakfast.

Loud water systems (or something) from next door or somewhere, woke me twice in the early hours(4.30am 5.00). Leaf blower outside room then finally woke me at 8am

In the restaurant everything we ordered seem to be wrong

The room was very clean with a king size bed, tea/coffee making facilities and soap/shower gel provided. There was a hairdryer if needed.

The bathroom was a bit smelly and when we had a shower the water did not drain away for ages, which was probably the reason for the smell. We did tell reception about it and they said they would get someone to take a look. We also had to ask for the birthday cake in the restaurant and nobody sang Happy Birthday. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Just because we are not children does not mean we like and deserve cake.

I wasn't told that the hotel was undergoing refurbishment. Builders all over, no access to swimming pool, in fact NO swimming pool. No soap in either dispensers in the room. I have stayed before but would think twice about staying again. I should have been told about the building works at the time of booking.

Ibooked because of the spa facilities but when we arrived in the afternoon to enjoy these facilities we were told that it was all closed for refurbishment this was not mentioned at the time of booking or on the web page

The American style breakfast was huge!
