Breakfast was very nice. Car parking facilites useful but access to car park confusing. The hotel was in a good location, next to shops and a good variety of places to eat and drink, all within walking distance. Was warned on the web site about noise from disco but wasn't aware that it went on until 2am. Had we known how late it finished we would not have gone there. We were given a room almost over the disco. Floorboards were extremely creaky, window frames in poor condition.

The room was lovely. Very clean, comfortable bed, large floor to ceiling windows. The nightclub on the ground floor, very, very noisy.

Central location We knew it would be noisy at night but then to be woken at 6am on Saturday morning by market traders setting up their stalls did not give us the chance of a good night's sleep.

The Hotel is too old and sub standard. Needs lots of upgrades. The noise level from crowds hanging around outside next door pubs makes near impossible to sleep. The noise goes on until 3 in the morning. This is truly not acceptable. The staff was helpful but can only do so much. Many improvements would need to be made before I would ever stay here again. You should not list this Hotel on your site.

Nice Room, large TV, Free Wire-Fi (that does not work in the rooms) i was told due to the old structure of the building having many steel beams. cold food, the food was ice cold and i did not finish my meal, as they do not do room service \i had to fetch it from tyhe bar and carry up to my room. TV was not working and the man on reception did all he could and managed to fix it, bjt then only had 3-5 irrelevant channels except the news, which is what i had to watch. car park is very dark. breakfast even though is says so on the menu, no yoghurt, and my egg was soft when asked for hard, at this point i was not that fussed anymore. only was offered one cup of coffee, and no refill, this was due to the one guy at breakfast was to busy with several guests. i was coming back tio have lunch there, but did not. i just felt the hotel had lots to offer and has the appearance but failed on the detail which really annoy.

It was a good location and the room was very clean. Was not very satified with the service of the staff at breakfast! Also the room was freezing and already having a cold this did not help.

1. All cutlery was filthy, not just dirty 2. No one on receptiobn on arival, had to wait 10 minutes for some one to show up 3. Would not not accept a debit card (Barclays) 4. Huge panaramic window, which was fine, but no nets, had to pull curtains to get changed in dim, low wattage lighting, or be on public display.

The room was large with lots of storeage space. The linen was a very high grade and spotlessly clean. Even though there was a disco that evening we were at the top of the hotel and it did not bother us.

It's location It's a tired old building almost not to be described as a hotel in comparison to other hotels. The tiolet didn't work in the room so we were eventually moved to a 'Feature Room'. The feature was that the toilet flushed itself sparodically during the night. The shower needs replacing and there was no remote control for the tv which only had four channels The Breakfast was very good, although the radiator kept knocking during the meal. There is deffinitely a requirement for a full refurbishment, cutting no corners. It's also getting pricey and no longer value for money. The Staff, as ever, were very good.

Old fashioned, character. Good location in centre of town. Quaint feature room, large with many corridors and little rooms off. Nice new bathroom suite, oval bath, double sinks, good shower cubicle. Booked wake up call and newspaper and neither happened. Door lock not working well. Awful windows (behind blinds) and obviously have pigeon problems. One light did not work. Bathroom floors could do with new surfacing. Breakfast average, no toast rack, hate butter packs!

Great location. Room was larger than expected. Very comfortable bed. Beware staying at this hotel on a Friday or Saturday. There's a night club down stairs consisting of a single room of intoxicated pub crawlers that goes till 2am. Music was so loud the room was shaking. The morning after, staff mentioned people are usually warned when booking. Had I been made aware, I would have stayed elsewhere.
