Having been an hotelier myself I tend to find I am very critical and look for faults whenever I stay anywhere. I am pleased to report that I could not fault the Danescourt in any way. Cleanliness and comfort 100% and as for the breakfast it was exceptional. Cooked fresh, more than you could eat and piping hot, even served on a hot plate which I find is very rare in a lot of places. Would certainly reccomend to all my friends.

The hotel was conveniently situated just down the road from the pleasure beech which was the purpose of our visit to Blackpool. We had a family room for two adults and three kids, it was a little tight, but served the purpose as we just needed a bed for the night, it was very clean and the cooked breakfast was grand.

Clean hotel and very friendly, we were made very welcome. Breakfast was fab and kept us going for most of the day! Ideal position for the north pier and in walking distance to the Pleasure Beach. Enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again if we are visiting the area again! My only complaint is the room was a little small for 2 adults and 3 teenagers, bath room was small to, but can't complain much really as we were only sleeping in the beds and not spending all day in the room!

One not to be missed, first thing was a lovely warm welcome to this little gem of a hotel,my room was spotless with lovely White towels the bed was so comfy too,the breakfast was to die for with a large selection to choose from, not just your standard Blackpool fair.the location couldn't have been better right on the seafront 1 minute to pleasure beach water park south pier and the tram stops, just park your car and leave it.can't wait to return see you soon Joe keep up the good work

Our stay at the hotel was a very pleasant experience indeed. The welcome was very warming and everything was done to make our stay pleasurable. Ideally located to all of leisure facilities, it was a prime choice for families. Nothing was too much trouble for hotel staff who took time to speak to you at every opportunity. My little girl was so impressed and didn't want to come home. Facilities were excellent for our needs, everything was cleaned to a high standard and the breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will be definitely going back for a visit. Our booking was for a family room but when we arrived that was not available. We were offered two double rooms in it's place. This was just a tiny hole in an otherwise pleasurable stay.

The location was next to the Pleasure Beach The room was very small and the description of the beds was misleading (it was described as a double & a single when it was a bunk bed arrangement)

The rooms were outstanding. Clean, tidy and the room we had was very spacious. Bed was very comfy plus the bathroom was well catered for with soaps, shampoo etc. The staff and the owners were really nice, great sense of humour! The bar area was clean and tidy, the bar was open from early afternoon(which was well stocked) so if you didnt fancy going out for a drink the hotel had it there for you. The breakfast was fantastic, was from 8.30-9.00 but your allowed to stay aslong as you wanted, was done to a very high standard. Have absolutely no complaints, 5 stars for every department!

“We had an excellent stay in the junior suite couldn't fault anything, the staff were welcoming/friendly from the very start, allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel before check-in while we enjoyed the rest of the day. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy, the jacuzzi was amazing just what you need to wind down after a full day at pleasure beach :) I would definitely recommend The Homecliffe and wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future.” Michael, Bury |
