Location- ideal if you need a room travelling along the A40 Scenic grounds Massive rooms Excellent WiFi, provided by routers in each room (Ethernet cables also available)
Not a lot to see/ do nearby Difficult to appreciate the war memorial at the property boundary, due to the narrow verge that remains after the trunk road was widened
Very reasonable, no frills accommodation. Breakfast - fabulous. Not included in price of room. Choice of continental at £6 or full English at £9. Delicious sausages, bacon & poached egg perfectly cooked.
Mattress had seen better days. Would suggest time to replace & could have used a couple more pillows.
Comfortable bed Excellent Wi-Fi Good Shower
Noise travel so loudly due to improper sound insulation between each rooms. Slight unpleasant smell in bathroom .All in all it was a nice stay
Staff v helpful and friendly Perfect location for visit to Hartpury College Exceptional clean rooms
In need of a tidy up outside Not really a place to relax other than bedroom
Clean, spacious room
Very thin walls between rooms - disturbed several times by neighbouring guests
Eating area Minimalist, lukewarm, overpriced breakfast. Don't even think about it.
rooms were spacious, clean and everything you need. The dog was allowed in the room which is must for us. The bath and shower were great.
The breakfast was not really up to the £9 being charged. The place seemed to be in transition as the 'gastropub' was nowhere to be seen. Rooms were very overheated, but this is preferable to cold, and we just opened the windows.
Clean and tidy finished to a good standard . WiFi available unused by me
The unfinished car park which is covered in red mud !!!!!!!!
the well designed and comfortable accommodation.very good staff
i dont mind the two spiders on the top of the curtains but some other people might not
Very warm and welcoming staff. Very quiet.
The venue was a little secluded for a solo traveller.
lovely peaceful rooms staff were very helpful and will stay there every time I am down in Gloucester
could not connect to wi fi
location, size of the room and very friendly hosts. Breakfast was self service but outstanding quality food, wish I could eat more!
We needed comfortable rooms after a tiring day and we found them. The facilities were spotless and the rooms spacious. As we were out in the country it was very quiet at night. When the work is finished and the restaurant is functioning it will be even better
In the booking information it states that arrival is between two limits. It is advisable to ring when you are on the way to give an exact time or you might, as we did find a deserted ship as the owner is walking her dog. This did not. Matter yo us but it is not a very good start.
Lovely shower. Whole room realy clean. Outside realy clean and tidy, was generally impressed with our stay.
Not enough sugar on tea/coffee tray Unsure on size of bed? Are they large singles or small doubles? Was a little uncomfy Would of liked to be told about the heating being turned off at midnight
Friendly efficient helpful staff. Good price. Excellent quality breakfast. Spacious comfortable rooms.
Still under development so a bit of an unfinished feel and the smell when sitting outside was a bit unpleasant. ...septic tank?
- Comfortable bed & good size room - All facilities I needed - Breakfast & evening meals available - Ample free parking
- No welcoming reception. Had to ring a bell and wait a few moments for someone to come. - Location of reception door not very clear - DARK BARN is a depressing name even tho' it's brown - Parking area being refurbished
Everything was great happy to assist with anything will go again
Clean Good wifi I liked the self service hot buffet for breakfast Easy parking
My room was directly off the dining room, which meant I was disturbed by staff talking loudly to each other at 7am on Sunday morning My room was basic, a little drab, but comfortable
It was no bother when I rang to say we would be quite late booking in. Very pleasant staff Tea & coffee facilities were good. Very clean - including under the bed and in the corners in the shower room - very impressed with the cleanliness! Even though it was very late, and dark when we arrived, it is very well signposted from the road.
Our bed (room 18) was broken. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor on the second night as the bed was very soft, and we rolled into the middle. Mobile reception was iffy, and we could only log onto the wifi with one phone.
Nice relaxing stay, comfortable
Not disabled friendly despite being advertised as such, gravel drive made wheel chair entry impossible without assistance from a physically fit helper, step up into a narrow entrance into the tired and dated looking accomodation, noisey as next to a busy road, booked for 5 days stayed for 1...owner was understanding.
Friendly, helpful staff, large room, nice shower room, very comfortable.
Very poor phone signal, but problem is over entire area.
Quiet location, clean room and helpful staff. Free Wifi.
Breakfast OK, cooked breakfast on buffet very unappetising and at £9 expensive.
