Staff were very accommodating when I requested a room for two for part of the visit. The breakfasts were delicious and staff were efficient and helpful. The hotel is very clean, well appointed and located well for access to transportation as well as walking. |

This was my second stay in the hotel. Cleanliness is a very important thing to me and in that respect this hotel is very good. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent as I anticipated. Oh boy, I loved it. It is so nice that You can rely on having tasty tea and so many varieties of delicious foods on Your breakfast. Last time the room was a little bit too warm for us, but now it was perfect. |

Darlington is my favorite London hotel when I want to stay in the Paddington area. My ground floor room was somewhat noisy due to being along the corridor leading to the reception and since the isolation is quite poor (1 cm opening under the door); the room itself was just perfect. |

This was my second stay at the Darlington and I plan another in the spring. I particularly like the access to the Tube, security features, full breakfast and the cleanliness of the hotel. I believe the price is a good value, especially for London. I have recommended theDarlington to others. |

The Darlington is a pleasant comfortable hotel with helpful staff and we had an excellent breakfast. The room was overlooking th road and was very noisy all night it was also too warm in th room althoug h the heating was not on. |

- cleaning, good service at reception, good break-fast; very good located; -blocked first night value on my credit card and although I fully pay all amount from check-in in the hotel and they assure will be no problem to release suplimentary blocked amount after over one week after we pay full amount and wrote a lot of e-mails I still have the additional money block, never happend to me something like this with a hotel - to have the money block although I fully pay everything from the very beginning. |

The hotel was in a convenient spot, very clean with helpful staff. It was great value and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The floors are a little noisy. No problem for us but if you got someone upstairs who was heavy footed you could have a problem. |

Very friendly staff. Room was very comfortable room and spacious too. While there was not a lot of spare space in the bedroom, there was a separate sitting area that effectively turned the room into a suite. |

Breakfast and the fact that we got special breakfast because we had to leave early in the morning The room was in the basement and we could hear the underground trains. Car could not be parked near the hotel. |

The service of the staff was wonderful and the breakfast had excellent variety and tasted great! Having a washing machine and dryer avaialble (For a small fee) was also very handy. The room was small but still very acceptable, The hotel was very hot, we could only seem to cool the room down by opening windows. In fairness we did not bring this up with the hotel so there could have been a solution. The lift is slow and sometimes when you were waiting for it, you ended up taking the stairs. But these items were very minor and we were happy with our stay. |

The staff were exceptional -very helpful in every way. Hotel is clean, comfortable, close to all transport, including express train to Heathrow. The breakfast is very good and a bonus with this hotel is a laundry for the guests. Could not complain about anything is was great !!! |

The Darlington Hyde Park hotel was in an excellent location with Paddington Station close by and great shopping areas such as Oxford Street and Portobello Road. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and our room was large and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and would certainly stay there again. |

I found the staff to be extremely friendly and courteous. The room although small was clean and very quiet. The hotel is a walk from Paddington station and I found this to be great for travelling around London and seeing different sights, as well as being the stopping point for the Heathrow Express. I will be back in London for 2 days and have already booked a room. |
