We were in a triple room in the basement and it was a bit noisy from people walking around upstairs but didn't spoil the stay.

The hotel was perfect for our requirements (weekend in London - Leisure). Close to everything. Cannot fault it at all. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Facilities were spotlessly clean. Definitely would stay there again.

Only downside was traffic noise, but when in London, one has to expect it, so it wasnt really a problem.

The room was clean and equipped with all the amenities I needed during my stay (including wifi). The included English breakfast was a plus. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. All in all a very comfortable and affordable stay.

Loved the spacious room and cleanliness, the facilities and the wonderful staff. The breakfast was fantastic and plenty of choice and variety. Close to the tube and close to nice family restaurants.

the Darlington does everything a hotel needs to do and does it well. Staff were friendly, room was clean, location was good, breakfast was nice and the beds were comfortable!

They didn't have any change when we wanted to pay in cash but that was only a minor issue.

very bad wifi receptions in lower ground rooms the fact that our room was situated below ground level but this seems to be the problem with all of london (triple rooms are only below ground level at Darlington) breakfast is great but same all the time - a buffet style breakfast would be much prefered (you can choose only either continental or english style)

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and they are still just as good as back then! Very polite and friendly staff, good english breakfast, clean and nicely decorated rooms, comfortable location near Paddington station and Kensington gardens. I enjoyed it a lot, looking forward for staying here again!

Convenient location for business meetings and shops. Room perfectly acceptable for a short stay. Breakfast very good. Not sure if it was cooked to order, but it it tasted like it was!

They were so welcoming and it was a really nice place to stay.

Great location, within easy reach of lots of restaurants, pubs/bars and Paddington main & underground stations. Very clean rooms, good breakfast.

Unfortunately we were in the basement, just below reception, which meant we heard people moving around from about 6.30am on Sunday morning.

Helpful and friendly staff, good facilities and location. Recommend to anyone for a London stay.

Very comfortable and clean hotel at a reasonable price. Walking distance to Paddington Station. Staff very helpful (special mention to Adrienne in the breakfast room who was so pleasant).

Hotel was lovely, staff were very polite and went out of their way to help. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
