Dart Marina Hotel  

It's location and the views. The refurbished rooms are lovely.

Bar food should be available after 6pm rather than being forced to have room service. I raised this issue as a complaint 12 months ago when we stayed there before this time and nothing has changed. Less than satisfactory.

Location was perfect, beautiful view from window and we had a cheaper standard room. Room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was spotless. Wonderful yummy breakfast!

One of the porters was a bit in my face and over the top but maybe some people like that! Also the pool was very, very small and feel this lets the hotel down a little as my hubby and I like to swim but ok for a splash and steam.

Not a complaint but the menu in the restaurant is very limited if you have a fussy party

The friendliness of the staff was super and also the efficiency of them was refreshing...I Use hotels on average at least 7 times per month, and it is so nice to stay in an hotel that isnt part of a large chain that actually seems to care. My son is at the Naval College so I will certainly be staying again in the not too distant future.

Not a complaint, but merely an observation, the toilets flushing in the rooms sound like Concordes Olympus Engines on afterburner.

The views and location were amazing.

I felt that although it is an amazing location with beautiful views, the hotel is overpriced, our room, despite being 'superior' was small. It did not exceed my expectations and the quality of the breakfast and staff's friendliness did not match the price tag and we were even charged for a morning paper! We enjoyed our stay as it was a mini honeymoon mainly because Dartmouth is such a lovely place. We will return by sadly not to the Dart Marina Hotel. The spa was good, but not as it looks in the photos.

The location was superb, especially the view from my balcony ( Room 5). The hotel was full and has a very relaxed atmosphere with excellent friendly service from dedicated enthusiastic staff. The room were very comfortable and tastefully decorated and furnished to take advantage of the position. Bathroom had hot water,excellent towels, robes and toiletries.

A very personal problem - I couldn't use the shower because it was over the bath and I am recovering from a broken hip. But I believe the room I was in is due to be updated. The room iteslf was ideal - only the bathroom was dated, but spotless.

The staff service was exceptional both upon arrival and in the Restaurant.The view from the room overlooking the river was exceptional.

The dressing gowns in the spa were too small.

Initial Reception & Room very good, Restaraunt, Food & Staff very good.

No proper facilities for the less abled to access the bath to have either a bath or shower. Staff dealing with the changeover of rooms, from our Superior Room to an Apartment caused by a problem with the water tank above our room, did not arrange for the appropriate Servicing to be carried out, this caused unecessary problems on our part, completely spoiling our Special Break, we felt we were not properly compensated, the matter could have been treated a lot better.

The hotel was in a excellent position.Our balcony room had a brilliant view of the harbour.Plenty of car parking space.som

Some of the restaurant staff were incompetent including the head waiter who gave us the wrong vegetarian menu causing us to re-order meals we did not really want. This happened on two occasions. The cost of our stay was way too epensive for what you actually got.
