Everything at this hotel was good and very good value for money. I would stay here again, the beds in particular were outstanding.
Slightly difficult to find, could do with some more signage in Totnes when approaching from Plymouth, otherwise everything was good
Being kept awake all night by a very noisy hen party in the room above us.
Quite a number of aspects, for example, the views, the food was very reasonably priced and good quality. There seems to be a range of pricing deals available. The service and hospitality was excellent from all staff. Ideal setting for a getaway break
Could become quite busy so not sure what this would be like in terms of the space available in the bar, etc and "noise" levels. We were there when it was quiet.
The entrance to bedrooms is my only negative comment, as you pass through the bar/ bistro /restaurant in the evenings and the same areas where breakfast is served in the mornings. Overall a very professional, friendly and welcoming hotel with good facilities.
Beautiful location. Food was excellent, room clean and comfortable, piping hot water in bath/shower, lovely pool and golf course. Staff very efficient and friendly. Great price for B&B, golf and use of facilities. Would definitely stay again.
Peace and quiet
The guests having to go through the dining room to their rooms particularly at dinner
Beautiful Hotel, very clean and relaxing room, spa was lovely, food great, staff very friendly,
We would have preferred a more traditional hotel and not a golf club with a hotel attached because we felt it lacked atmosphere so not sure we would return.Thought this should have been made clear in the information
A most pleasent stay.
Good quality hotel , room and food
Arrived late, reception staff not at reception had to wait and try to find receptionist my self.
Peace and quite food great
As in have already said
Spa treatments were excellent. The views. Staff were helpfull and accomodating. Room was big and bed was comfortable. Bed room Cleaned every day. Breakfast food was good .
Larger swimming pool needed. Larger and seperate relaxing area, not in the bar. More pool tables and maybe table tennis. To have the restaurant in a differet area so that you dont have to work through it to get to your room from the spa .
Room was clean and had view of golf course. Good choice for breakfast. Easy to get into Dartmouth.
Slightly uncomfortable toilet because it was too close to the bathroom wall. Access to our room was through the bar and restaurant which could be awkward at busy times.
Location, very quiet and picturesque. Great Breakfast included in the price
Good room, nice pool and spa facilities, Bar good , restaurant good for evening meal although menu a bit limited. Food quality very good. Breakfast good. We would stay there again.
Mobile phone reception is very poor. Some aspects of the premises were a bit scruffy.
the staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the food was good.
Good Accommodation Nice Spa
Poor signage to hotel. No mention od "Best Western" brand
The food I had was excellent
Food Location Pool Price
Nothing to dislike
Beds extremely comfortable. Dinner good choices and good value for money. Large comfortable rooms.
Golfers verging on rude, obviously do not want guests at their club . No attempt to open doors when arrived soaking wet and laden with luggage. Another virtually slammed door in my face. Made to feel very unwelcome
The friendliness of the staff, especially the bistro staff at breakfast, who went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate our tastes, the main one being Claire Tozer, plus the two young girls, the names which escape me. I think it was Mia and her partner. Breakfast excellent.
Warm welcome on arrival, very clean comfortable room, lovely view over the course, good food and friendly bar, great value for money - The Dartmouth 9 hole course is challenging with fabulous scenery. We would not hesitate to recommend the DGCC, we booked for a 3 night break and regretted not booking a longer stay. We will definitely return soon.
convenience to neighbouring towns
the staff at breakfast they are very friendly
the bedroom had no air conditioning it was dark as it only had a small window and we could not get cool air into the room as the window would not open enough so this made the room very stuffy and too hot to sleep
the leisure centre the rooms and location
the evening menu dissapointed thought in dartmouth there would be more fish i had the only fish main course fish good but served with salad its just does not go
