We liked the location, the property, the room, the little extras in the room, the breakfasts were varied and really nice. It was nice to have sufficient parking spaces for all the guests. Isla and her brother are fantastic hosts, they couldn't do enough for each of the guests. They provided lots of really useful local information with history and also information for people traveling further afield. A big thumbs up from my wife and I. If we were ever to visit the area again we would contact this host above all others.

It’s a super wee village with all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants you would want. Close to woodland walks from the town and short drive to the river and mountains of the Cairngorms a more relaxed feel than the nearby town of Aviemore.

A beautiful area with ancient forest, a local honey maker, an amazing selection of local shops - refillery, bookshop, stationery shop, big supermarket. This is a lovely place to stay to explore the Cairngorm national park. Easy to drive to highlights like Rothy Murchus and Loch Garten. Also lots of other adjacent areas like Nethy Bridge, Forres and Findhorn.

Beautiful area to spend time in.
Beautiful area to spend time in. The town is small, has some nice walks and cute cafes. It's in a gorgeous location surrounded by the Cairngorms so I definitely recommend for a weekend getaway, or even a few nights to get yourself out in nature.

Everything about this stay was perfect! Cozy stay with fun and attentive hosts… plus an amazing breakfast! We really could not have had a better time. You can tell they really put so much love and thought into every detail throughout the stay. The hosts also had some fantastic recommendations and were wonderfully knowledgeable about any topic (that we thought of) to further our experience of Scotland. Thank you both for having us!!!
Everything! Great welcome and very friendly owners. We were welcomed with whiskey 😀 Attention to detail was exceptional; soft thick carpet in the bedroom, fluffy towels, powerful shower AND a bath, charging station, extension lead next to mirror, extra blankets, bits and bobs tray for keys. Owners gave advice on where to eat and nearby walks. Great choice on breakfast menu, which was wonderful as we stayed 3 nights
The location was ideal, just a short walk to the high street of Grantown-On-Spey,with lots of
Interesting places to drive to nearby.
The breakfast was really tasty, and the table had everything you would like on it and more.
Our hosts Karen and Alex were great,Karen’s attention to her guests is outstanding,
our room and large bathroom had everything we needed, and was really beautifully furnished.
You will not find two more detail-oriented, thoughtful and generous hosts than Thomas and Ben. This stay was exceptional and the breakfast was equal to any five-star dining experience we’ve had in all of Scotland. The owners went above and beyond to return a treasured item back to us that we’d forgotten after we left Grantown. We highly recommend staying at the Rossmor on any trip to the Cairngorms.
Loved staying in this lovely quirky cottage in ideal location. Very clean on arrival, all bedding and plenty towels supplied for 3 of us. Staircase, uneven floors and outdated kitchen equipment not for some, I felt added to character of property, made a cooked breakfast one morning no problem, otherwise mostly ate out at Grantown on Speys various excellent pubs and restaurants.
We stayed in 8 hotels during out tour of Scotland and Ravenscourt House was our favorite. Nic was an excellent host. We loved the bar, the breakfast and the onsite restaurant which we ate at our first night. Nic was very helpful and and always available. He mixed us Gin and tonics and lent us ice packs to treat our injuries lol. Loved it here.
Amazing breakfast , friendly staff , large towels that actually cover your body ! Beds so comfortable , beautiful bar with comfortable seats near a proper fire and larger area further down which was great when we had friends over to enjoy drinks and games
Breakfast was wonderful! Make your selection the night before from a varied menu. David and Beate were great hosts. Informative and providing guidance to touring the area up through Elgin to Inverness. One of our favorite stays while in Scotland.
The owners were very welcoming and helpful, to the extent of booking a table at a nearby restaurant for us (and very good it was too). Their COVID procedures were excellent and made us feel very safe. Lovely breakfast too.
This old fashioned cozy inn was a great place for our last night in Scotland before flying home from Inverness. Beds were comfy and shower was great. We also dined at the restaurant, and really enjoyed the great food.
Location, the impressive building, friendly helpful staff , freshly cooked buffet breakfast, 11am check out, free parking at hotel. Good bar reasonably priced and very comfortable lounge area with nice outlook.
Immaculate accommodation, fully equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom too, the owners really thought of everything, The Granary is a home from home. Ideally located, central in Grantown on Spey.
All of the staff were wonderful. Mark, the innkeeper, was very helpful in getting us what and where we needed. We did the Scotch tasting at the hotel and that was great!
Everything about this place was amazing and unique! I would recommend this Country House Hotel to anyone who is planning on staying in the area, it will not disappoint!
Easy parking, courteous reception, courteous dining room staff, evening meal available, nice short walking distance to Grantown on Spey , Petrol station also in town .
Great location, good food, and near an electric car charging spot. The staff was friendly and helpful with good recommendations for food spots in town as well.
