The lounge at the Davaar House Hotel offers a bar, with a large selection of fine malt whiskys, spirits, bottled beers and lager and draught lager.

The dining room is the location for breakfast, where a selection of cereal, fresh fruit, juice, bread and freshly grilled breakfast is made to order.

For dinner, an excellent choice of homemade soups, pate, fresh scallops are followed by Scottish fillet steaks, salmon, sea bass or vegetarian dishes, all served with a selection of local vegetables and potatoes.

Homemade fruit pies, meringues and creamy Orkney ice cream are on offer for dessert, followed by a selection of Scottish and continental cheeses.

Davaar House Hotel enjoys an excellent reputation for its cuisine, sourcing only fresh, seasonal local produce that means quality at a very affordable price.

Just 3.2 km (2 miles) from the motorway (the M90), the hotel is also within easy reach of the train station (1.6 km / one mile) and central bus station (a 15-minute walk).

The Rosyth Superfast Ferry port is 6.4 km (4 miles) south of Davaar House, whilst day trips to Edinburgh (22.5 km / 14 miles), St. Andrews, Stirling and Perth (all 45 km / 28 miles) are all easily achievable.

Travel information

By Car:
From Edinburgh Airport (22.5 km/14 miles):
- Exit the airport and follow the signs for the M90 North/Forth Road Bridge.
- From Forth Road Bridge follow the M90 and exit at junction 3 for the A907 to Dunfermline/Stirling.
- Follow the A907, passing Dunfermline Football Stadium on the right.
- Approach the large roundabout (Sinclair Roundabout) and take exit 3 on the left (Carnegie Drive, a dual carriageway).
- At the 5th set of traffic lights (there will be a Davaar House Hotel sign), turn right into William Street.
- Take the 4th right turn into Grieve Street.
- Davaar House Hotel is the 4th driveway on the left.
