Simon and Diane are a very welcoming couple who run their business in a friendly professional manner. They maintain cleanliness to an extreamly high standard which is the reason why we booked for the second time. Simon is informative and engaging and our compliments to Diane for providing a perfect breakfast. Our stay was very relaxing and we would wish to book again.

Excellent all round. We were welcomed with tea and freshly baked chocolate cake. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully cooked, and Simon couldn't have been more helpful with ideas of where to visit and where to eat. Would not hesitate to stay at The Daylesford again.

This is a very clean and homely small hotel where the proprietors spare no effort to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. The accommodation is excellent and there is a quiet ambience to the place which suited us well. Breakfast and all service was top rate. We consider this excellent value for money.

Simon and Dianne were very attentive, and made some good recommendations of places to visit and eat. We particularly enjoyed our meal at the No.7 and the Real World Cafe. The breakfast was great and really set us up for the day. Torquay has been a jumping off point on our way to Cornwall, this time it was our destination. I'm sure we will be back.
