Size and comfort of bed Fast free wifi Free all you can eat continental breakfast Easy to walk to town centre
Location and price
Taps and window latch in bedroom needed mending. Food very average.
The room was clean and comfortable
The tables in the restaurant were so close we were almost sitting on the laps of the tables either side of us. The TV was blaring so loud in the restaurant we left before ordering and went into town to eat. The children in the room next door had been left alone and were running riot and banging on the wall. They were also cooking curry in the room which smelt very strong which was not pleasant
WiFi was excellent. Good facilities
Staff were not very attentive. Despite a double room only 1 set of towels were put out, the 2nd set were in the wardrobe and we didn't find them until later. Staff at breakfast not at all attentive and got our order wrong for 2 full English breakfasts. Rooms were a little too hot for the time of year
All very good
Wifi Staff very friendly.
Needs deep cleaning in the rooms. The bed needs fixing to the floor wheels on wood floor don't work. Bathrooms need a deep clean to get rid of mold. Overall updating in the corridors. Continental breakfast was very Poor.
Spacious ensuite room, large bed. Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend.
a good couple of days away, the staff were friendly, breakfast and evening meals were good. hotel was ok. so yes good.
only problem was wife is disabled. we booked ground floor room, got to hotel told they where busy so put us on 1st floor that was ok first nigth, next day lift broke down, wife struggled with stairs. so kind of spoilt it a bit,but to be fair a good break.
Uncomfortable bed and
We picked this hotel for Valentine's Day weekend, and our first visit to Coventry, because of the price and the location. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre, the Belgrade Theatre, and just about anything you'd want to visit. The staff was very kind, and we didn't have any issues with sound pollution.
The cleanliness of the room wasn't perfect. The toilet room's shower had some dirt, but we washed it down with water. The shower head was broken, so I had to do a bath instead of a standing shower. The restaurant at the hotel was okay. We had duck and shrimp, but the duck was very overcooked. Should have just walked to the pub...
Pleasant relaxed feel about the place. Breakfast was good and leisurely. Enjoyed Indian Meal in restaurant. Hotel was very good value.
If you sat up in bed, the bed would move away from the headboard which was irritating.
Good location and price. Friendly staff
Very small room, useless shower. Limited parking.
Friendly customer service, cleanliness of rooms up to a good standard.
Wifi bit weak.
Helpful staff, good bedroom other than view.
View of a brick wall (just a yard or two away from the bedroom window). The liquid all purpose soap/shampoo.
spotlessly clean, terrific staff, excellent food. Just could'nt fault it. Oh! maybe one thing they could save a fortune by turning down the thermostat on the hot water, it was red hot.
There some good food on the restaurant. The staff is kind.
3 days with only one set of towels for 2 persons... the toillet of the room is very very poor!
The location was near the centre, the staff were friendly and the public areas looked smart and were warm. The continental breakfast was good value.
The room was not heated in February, and had not been well maintained.
Breakfast (continental) good. Location good.
Bathroom extractor fan not working. Flush the loo and shower head would pump out water!!! Floorboard (below carpet) near window missing! - trip hazard. ROOM 218
Liked the price, location, breakfast and pleasant staff, more pros than cons would stay again.Been here before.
A lot of dust in th rooms, people banging and stamping around in the early hours, not much sleep before the next leg of our drive.
Location and value for money
it was clean and the bar staff was helpful along with reception staff, however the night staff was unhelpful when I complained about the noise of the flag, however it was a stormy night. mind you the flag is about 3 x 6 m big.
I had a room that was close to the flag pole and with the high winds the noise of the flag was vibrating down the pole and through the walls and was so loud I could not sleep, after complaining that they should have taken the flag down in such bad weather they said they could not, however they did upgrade me to a larger room for the rest of my stay. on the top floor they have wooden floor and should be carpet as the noise walking on the floor disturbed people on the floor below, maybe they should look into this.
Breakfast could be served earlier.
Price, location not too far from city centre, friendly staff
The rooms are very spacious, breakfast was lovely.
The staff were very rude and un-helpful for on reception.
