Only 10 minutes’ walk from Coventry City Centre, this Premier Inn provides bright, modern rooms with an en suite bathroom.
Score from 212 reviews Very good
Comfortable bed, bath and good choice at breakfast.
Could only get milk from the corner where the tea and coffee were. This meant a long wait to get milk for your cereal as people were doing their tea and coffes.
Cheap and convenient for city centre
Room smelt very heavily of smoking. Parking difficult underneath.
We liked the size ot our room which was huge it was comfortable clean and cosy a nice touch was the fridge and tea coffee facilities were good all, walking distance to town all brilliant
Noisy fella next door kept slamming doors
one of the room booked was small and over the kitchen with a very noisy extractor fan. The meal we had in the evening we had to wait at least 45 minutes and when it arrived at least one had been microwaved. Should have complained but after a hard tiring day just accepted.
Walking distance to centre.
Value for money
A little noisy by the road and the floor boards above creeped a lot when people we're walking around
Price is good. Stayed at one of the suites. Creaky floor boards. Spacious. Not a lot of choices on the breakfast menu. Bed is quite big. Car park gets pretty much filled up quickly so had to park on the adjoining street.
Parking. Breakfast menu.
We just stayed overnight to visit the modern cathedral which was a short walk from the hotel. The location was perfect for that. The st4aff were very helpful, the room was excellent for the price. Excellent value for money, breakfast was very good. The bar and food in the evening was very good as well as the service. All in all our stay was brilliant. Probably come again.
Parking was a bit tight but we managed. Shame that to access the main road you have to go round the houses but it wasnt a problem. Decorations a bit tired.
very comfortable rooms. And accommodating staff.
Good value ,nice food
The meals we were served was of a poor quality
Initially we were checked into small room. But our stay was for 14 days and we had a lot of luggage with us. Staff was kind and they moved us to bigger room which was comfortable. Limitless wifi
Hotel needs cosmetic maintenance
Friendly check in, good location and excellent wifi.
The only minor downside to the stay was we booked a double room and our room had two single beds pushed together.
Heated towel rack Healthy breakfast - good choice Large room
Tired furnishings Broken window latches let in noise and the cold.
The hotel rooms were a good size, clean, the continental breakfast was quite good, it has some (limited) free parking and is quite near the centre of Coventry
It seemed silly to have to wait at Reception to re-activate our room key every time we left the hotel (so several times a day). Also the walk into the centre of Coventry, via a bridge, some derelict land or a (sometimes smelly) underpass was not pleasant.
The staff where very helpful and polite.
Location good and easy to walk to center or drive to Ricoh arena. Breakfast included nice choice. Staff helpful and pleasant room small but comfortable clean and with bath in e suite.
Most parking was under building and for cars only. We were in a van. We chose this hotel primarily for free parking included but all main level spaces were taken so we ended up trying to find on road parking anyway.
overnight staff extremely helpful
room wasn't clean
Value for money. Was noisy. Could hwar everyone in the hallway, next door, door slams. All this whilst trying to sleep. Other than that it was ok. Go for a cheap night stay with no expectations, you will enjoy it.
Too noisy at night.
Terrible bitter on draught
THe room was very small. The heating did not work, the quilt was paper thin and the bedside lamp did notwork. I got the counterpain out t ocover the bed and it had faeces on it. I was moved ot a bigger room,. Radiator still did not work so they gave me a heater and I laid in bed looking at cobwebs and holes in the wall.
We enjoyed a beautiful meal in the restaurant. There was plenty of choice at very reasonable prices and the staff were friendly and attended to us during the meal without being over bearing.
After our very enjoyable meal we felt that we wanted to leave a tip for the bar staff and those involved in serving our meal and looking after us during our meal. We handed the tip to one member of staff, who barely acknowledged it and the reason soon became clear; as we were leaving, he slipped the money into his pocket, left the restaurant to what appeared to be a staff room and emerged moments later and headed back to the restaurant. It did spoil our evening as we particularly wanted to thank all of the staff for their excellent service and hospitality and not just one person to take it for themself. Hence the reason for deducting one mark for the staff - otherwise the staff were excellent.
Good location, 5 mins outside ring road. Friendly and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast. Wi-fi worked well in our room (328?) on third floor. Very little road noise, (our room faced north).
Having to have electronic room key re validated every time you re-entered the hotel. Never come across this before.
