It is a bit too far out from the city centre
Good place to stay for a single night.
smell of place
accommodation was spotless but prices a little on steep side considering its on a service area we paid £60.00 each for two rooms
distance from Cambridge centre when travelling back to it late in evening when dark and not knowing area that well A14 very busy its easy to miss signs for exit
nice room, well maintained, pleasant friendly staff... pretty good for a main road service area.
Hotter than the sun!
Large comfortable bed. Near to motorway for access to Cambridge
My room was behind reception and the member of staff who was manning the reception throughout the night could be heard moving around which meant I had a poor nights sleep regardless of the comfortable bed
The room and contents were excellent except for ....... (see across)
the room was extremely hot and made it quite uncomfortable overnight
The hotel was easy to find and there are several eateries adjacent to the hotel e.g. McDonalds, Chopstix, Mexican etc. so you have to like fast food, but hey ho you can make allowances just for once.
I found that the hot water in the shower wasn't very hot and kept cooling off during my shower. Also I couldn't get any hot water at all in the bathroom sink. Everything else was fine.
clean would recomend to friends
the only thing we did not like no freeview
Convenient location, friendly staff, free WiFi, large room
Very dirty carpets in room, everything dusty, beds hard, no mattress /duvet/pillow protectors, pillows smelled mouldy, shower room dirty and mouldy
Familiarity with the Days Inn. Stayed many times before.
Good location. Helpful staff, clean room.
Room smelt of cigarette smoke. Only one pillow each, no spares in wardrobe but extra provided by staff when asked. Shower gel empty. Heated towel rail not working.
spacious room with two double beds / next to a shopping mall
the sofa bed has one leg collapsed so the kids were sleeping on a slope
The association with the food hall, rather than their own resturant. At 7.45 pm. While the place was being mopped down with stinking disinfectant, We asked if they were serving? the answer was "yes" but the cold chips etc and VERY sad anciant potted " meal" was disgusting !! IF IT CAN'T PERFORM SHUT IT !!! and stop relying on residents being PRISONERS
Not very clean, carpets worn, beds old. All in all very dated and not very clean.
Not too far out of cambridge with good nearby facilities.
It took over an hour to travel 5 miles in the morning from the hotel.
Smelly bathroom Suffy carpets Smelly bed and pillows
Leaving the hotel the following morning.
Dirty bedroom carpet that hadn't been vacuumed and the blood stains on two pillows.
Convenient location, next to services. My room (situated around the back) was quiet. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Comfortable bed, good TV.
Reception area smelt a bit musty, as did first section of the ground floor corridor. Carpet also looked worn in places. Bathroom tiling in room looked a bit grubby. No air-con, (might be an issue in summer).
Big queen size bed
Corridors smelled of sewerage. Upgraded to an executive room, the shower fell on my head as it didn't fit correctly and the shower was stained.
Cheaper than Travelodge and much better quality and facilites. I'll look for Days Inn again.
Convenient for the Motorway.
The Hotel was a little tired looking! We didn't get much sleep due to a loud buzzing noise coming from the air conditioning unit ( which wasn't even on)! This seemed like an electrical fault as it also affected the television reception. We never found the tea/ coffee facilities! The "restaurants" on site were not really very appetising ie KFC, MacDonalds.
Friendly and helpful receptionist
Threadbare carpet in room, distance from Cambridge, therefore expensive for an out of town location.
Location just far enough from the main A14
