Useful location for travelling, but I wouldn't go there again. Bathroom in particular not too clean. Stains in shower tray and on floor. Corners of bathroom and shower tray had clearly not been cleaned for some time. Small black stains on sheet. Soap dispenser broken over sink. I advised staff on check out but it was clearly broken and had just been left like that for me. Check out was at 11am. At 10.40 staff knocked on the door ignoring the 'do not disturb' sign, checking whether I had left. Surely the hotel has a computer system to check who had checked out, not disturbing guests unnecessarily? For £60 a night I felt this hotel wasn't really good enough. .

Very spacious shower. Room was opposite cleaner's closet - they were extremely noisy in the morning! There was no fridge in the room, and it was only after we had checked in/unpacked that I noticed a poster for the 10GBP upgrade (which wasn't offered to us initially). Décor was very tired and worn. Our window was broken (wouldn't close). We told reception who assured us that it would be looked into, but there was no change after we returned from our event 8hrs after notifying reception. I asked for an extra blanket after getting into bed (as room was a bit chilly), and was told I had to come and pick it up from reception. Given that our room was only at the top of the stairs (and we were in our pyjamas), I would have thought it was unreasonable to have had it delivered.

It was perfect for our one night stopover for an event in Cambridge. Clean, comfortable, quiet, easy to get to, very courteous and efficient staff. The negative comments of previous guests worried us, but it turned out to be a needless worry. If you want the Ritz, stay at the Ritz. This suited us fine.

Very good price and convenient. I found everything I want to see in the room. My little girl left her baby pillow in the room, I called and the very helpful staff sent it back to me immediately!

The interior design/space planning of the rooms and the variety of shop outlets adjacent. You need to have a car to be able to travel out to Cambridge since there is no public transport available.

we stayed for 2 nights but they did not clean the room or replenish the tea and coffee etc we were woken up at 4am in the morning by a group of lads who had just got in from a night out, running about, shouting and banging doors, no one from the hotel dealt with it bearing in mind or room was only along the corridor from the reception desk

Free WiFi, plenty of coffee, location at a service station not bad. The fact that because the hotel was in air con mode there was no heating and we had to be given a plug in heater (which worked, but was not ideal). Also quite tatty and dirty in places (although being redecorated).

Friendly staff and spacious rooms. Advertised a lounge but not what we expected as not comfortable and detached from the bar. Restaurant facilities limited as only service area. Bit far out of Cambridge for eating.

Very comfortable bed. Convenient location for my journey. Easy access to M&S food. Surprisingly quiet given the location. Lovely hot shower. The smell in the corridor and dirty threadbare carpet. My room was cold and the air-conditioning didn't seem to do much. Only cold water in the basin. Very noisy extractor fan in the bathroom. Not clear how to turn on the heated towel rail.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, room is clean, large size and comfortable bed, near shopping centre and has a children's play ground nearby is a bonus. Wifi is a nightmare, hardly can log in. The price of breakfast is a bit expensive. If you switch on the heating in your room, a bit noisy.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The corridor and reception smelt stale and of smoke. The shower in our room kept going cold - we reported this to reception when we left.We had stayed the previous night at a premier Inn and the facilities there were far superior for half the price. It had the advantage of not being connected to a service station and had its own restaurant. We would only stay at Days Inn as a last resort.
