Convenient for m1 Friendly and helpful staff Good size room with all you need for a brief 1 night stay
Easy to check in, standard rooms. Fine for what we wanted - just one night with late check in, early check out.
Getting a parking fine despite registering our car with reception - had to dispute etc.
Great rooms and comfy bed, staff suggested a great cheap pub just 5 mins away
Room hadn't been hoovered, but otherwise clean, just the usual boring food outlets next door.
Good Size Rooms Excellent Staff
Very Tired rooms Needs a lot of TLC Beds very old & lumpy - Could feel springs Carpet dirty & sticky!
Comfortable room. Welcoming reception even the dog. Couldn't hear the motorway. We would definitely use it again as excellent value for money and we will recommend to others.
Rubbish found under the bed so the cleaning could have been better. Overall the room was clean but finding a pop bottle and a coffee wrapper spoilt it.
Large room, tv, WiFi, tea/coffee,
Could hear next room talking/coughing, we arrived around 8.30pm and services only had whsmith and Costa open
the hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly
the hall carpets needed replacing as it smelled a bit musty as it was quite old
The staff were brilliant and were a great help with any problems that occurred, The facilities were clean and tidy. The were welcoming and made every effort to help. A big well done and thank you to them. As value for money which is also bonus.
Smokey smell in the bedroom. Towels were so thin you could see through them. Shower ran occasionally.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming with a good explanation of the facilities on offer...we had a wonderful nights sleep.
Easy to find and as expected for a motorway service hotel
Choice of food at 8pm from services Poor internet speed, not good for more than simple emails
Clean, staff efficient, quiet and comfortable
Wi-fi didn't work in the room.
The room was spacious and the sheets/linen clean. What water you could get out of the taps was hot.
The general decor was tired and faded. The shower didn't work and the bed was uncomfortable. No 'phone in the room and reception locked after hours. Walls paper thin which didn't allow much sleep!
I booked a family room , but didn't take children , but the room was spacious & would have been big enough had my boys travelled with me . My room was clean & each member of staff I encountered was friendly & helpful . Staff opened trade barrier to allow access to local area without the aggravation of a detour on the M1 .
The sat nav directed me to the trade entrance . The only way to gain access was via M1 which meant a detour from my last location . The walls were a bit thin , spent the morning listening to other peoples alarms going off .
quiet position away from motorway noise. clean room comfortable bed tea and coffee facilities Costa near by clean bathroom nice friendly reception staff very welcoming oh and the bottle of water and Cadbury's flake nice touch
no valences on the beds would have covered up the holes in divan base and also looked nicer
The site was convenient, parking was easy and the hotel was exactly what we expected. Beds were comfortable.
Black mould on bedroom windowsill
Greeted by a very friendly, cheerful and helpful Receptionist who could not be faulted. This was our first visit to a Days Inn and we were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and more quiet than anticipated for a Service Station location.
On waking for an early start to our destination, we found that the shower did not work at all and only a trickle of water could be obtained from the bath cold tap. There was nothing from the hot tap. Reception was closed and no staff were available to assist. Thankfully, there was water from both sink taps but there did seem to be a problem with the pressure. Our onward journey was delayed and we left late feeling disappointed.
Reasonably priced at £40 for a Friday night stay.Really comfy bed and pillows were great.Staff pretty pleasant also.
Room had a really funny odour and looked dated. Carpet looked well worn and stained but cant expect the Hilton for the price.
Great hotel comfortable clean cheap nothing to grumble about
Really enjoyed staying here, we only had 3 nights here but it was all set up lovely for us on arrival and was very cosy for what we needed, lady on reception was nice and friendly and made us feel welcome, room was clean, would definately stay here again when visiting friends in the area, so thank you!
spot on for purpose
didn't find fault
Everything. Staff was most helpful, very clean, good location, excellent cost and comfort
Size of rooms. Price.!!!!! Unbeatable!!!!
Having to ring bell/phone to open barrier of car park. Barrier coded. Code should be given at check in.
Huge room/family adjoining rooms. great shower.
heater smelt wrong! turned it off.
£40 pound for a massive family room. Kids beds thru an archway which was a great touch. Great site for exploring Matlock and gullivers kingdom!
