Very friendly reception staff
-No hot water on the morning of leaving! -Tired room and bathroom, bit like the house that Jack built -Noisy room next to the road, not much sleep -Could hear guests upstairs going to the bathroom in the middle of the night!
Proximity to motorway, lots of amenities close by
Comfortable. Price. Convenient for travel.
location Dogs could stay
Beds not made for our arrival. Mattress stained ➕➕➕
All staff helpful and friendly
Restaurant staff charming but obviously struggling to cope woth volume of custom leading to delays
Location convenient for Hamilton
Tired worn out decor needs immediate attention. I was travelling on my own so just needed a place to sleep. If I had been accompanied by my wife I am sure this review would have been a lot more negative!!
Staff were welcoming wifi was excellent
uncomfortable mattress Tired decor and carpets one staff member banged on door to see if room needed making up at 8.30. Unnecessary?
location,and excellent value for money
asked for extra pillows none provided
Able to arrive late
Good location if you just want to jump off the motorway to grab a nights sleep. TV in room and tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer. Clean. Receptionist helpful and friendly.
No toiletries, except soap dispenser at the sink and by the bath which was broken. Some road noise but then you are next to the motorway so to be expected.
Beds were not made up had to wait until 12:30 am for sheets quilts and were told no pillows had to wait longer for these our kids had to be up for 6Am for a dance competition and nit getting to bed until after 1am was no good for them
freiendly staff and helpful regarding where to go to eat and arranging taxis., Beds comfortable.
towels didnt get swapped after showers in fact just left on chair.
Room was comfy as was bed.Hotel was very quiet and suited needs for an overnight stay.
the odd lorry was rather noisy but did not keep me awake. I requested a room at the back.
Everything it was noisy and not very clean at all we were very disappointed never again.
The hotel is very clean and well maintained, the room was comfortable and had a great nights sleep. There was one thing that made the stay outstanding and that was a lady called Rosemary, what an absolute diamond she is, welcoming, smiley, happy, very hard working, great sense of humour, made us laugh and made sure that we had everything we needed and was always available when needed, even though she was the only person on duty, cleaning rooms, outside the door, windows, everything, the woman doesn't stop working and always remains a star, give this lady a well deserved raise and a holiday, she is a STAR!!!
The beds were very comfortable
The breakfast arrangement in the cafe had limitations .Would have preferred more options.
Convenient place to stop on our long journey up to the Highlands. The rates were reasonable. There only seemed to be one member of staff who had to man reception in between getting rooms ready but she was very pleasant.
Room was very basic and bed was uncomfortable. Whole place could do with an upgrade. The cafe next door was poor. More like a greasy spoon than a restaurant.
Nothing to like. Staff did well despite the lack of standards
An island in the motorway with poor facilities not value for money. Facilities very poor beds were a joke
Convenient location on the way to Glasgow. Our room was pleasant and quiet.
Breakfast at the next-door Roadchef was very disappointing - no fresh bread, no orange juice and watery filter coffee only (£2.90 the cup).
Convenient location, good open spaces to walk dogs. Hotel entrance close to car park so not far to carry cases etc.
Toilet rolls not replaced when necessary - we had to ask for new rolls. On booking, I requested a ground floor room but on check-in a 1st floor room had been allocated. However the staff re-allocated us to a ground floor room without any trouble.
helpful staff and clean rooms
Good basic motel accommodation - no frills but clean and sound.
Food arrangements: no service at Road Chef after 9.30 pm - some people may well arrive late and need a meal - and breakfast wasn't particularly good value - the voucher may have been "worth " £10 but teh breakfast wasn't. Noise was a bit of a problem - not surprising.
fact 1 requested disabled facilities didn't get that, bin in bathroom was used , room had not been cleaned, no toilet roll, dressing table was dirty, tabletop fan full of fluff so fire hazard, And the fact it had a bath means it is not accessable so never recommend it for sure
The location, easy to find, friendly staff
The noise of lorries at night
